Huawei EC2108E (1st gen Hypptv STB) vlan 600 click channels black screen & no audio.

Attached Image
Huawei EC6108V8 vlan 600 all channels are working.

Attached Image
Unifi Plus v3 vlan 500 all channels are working. Unable to get vlan 600 to work.

All devices are using the same user id except Unifi Plus.

Any users still using Huawei EC2108E encounter the same issue? started since yesterday.

I bought the hybrid box from shopee and try to setup the IPTV end up it show same issue. So the issue is not the STB but more on the IPTV connectivity issue. However since the hybrid box allow us to setup using wireless connection, I setup it using this method and all channel is back to normal. The downside now the unifitv will use up my wireless connection bandwidth.

I also found out my IPTV password is no longer work now after I connect using the wireless method. I feel TM wanting to get rid the IPTv connection in future?

Anybody here still able to connect using IPTV mode?

fyi hypptv & unifi tv are using different user id & password.

Does anyone have issue with the IPTV via VLAN? Im using the old grey set up box it seems unable to load any channel.
*
grey box broken for quite sometime. It works for white box VLAN 600.
I can't get Plus box to run on VLAN 600, it works fine on VLAN 500

Well, its bad news actually.

Its like they going to phase out vlan600 which dedicated bandwidth for IPTV.

Let wait and see after getting new box, I heard the box able to setup as internet or hybrid (IPTV).
*
Yes it support hybrid mode

White box mean you need app, and wifi to watch?
Unlike my old silver hypp tv logo use vlan no need acc to watch?
I don get any msg that will delivery new box for me
*
"hypp tv" old silver box use vlan = need account & password
"hypp tv" White box, same as old silver hypp tv use vlan = need account & password

if your account upgraded to Unifi TV, you can't use it on old silver hypp tv and White box

Got my box earlier this week but only managed to set it up today. I have a few questions:

1. With this new box, there’s no more VLAN600 so this means watching shows will now use some of my bandwidth?

2. I tried connecting a keyboard and mouse to the box, they got detected by android but don’t seem to work with the Unifi app. Has anyone else run into this?

3. I usually switch off the power to my appliances at night, but whenever I do that, the Unifi app asks me to log in again. Is there a way to save the login details?

Honestly I prefer the old white box, it's so much simpler and just works. I feel that unifi should have worked on their app a lot more before forcing us to upgrade.
