QUOTE(amirul hafizz @ Oct 6 2021, 09:06 PM) What we want for new box,Improve of video quality. Friendly User interface. Multi language subtitles. Interface come with multiple language,Default language, Subtitles settings like Astro box. Most of the time my older parents watch the TV at home when I work. They don't want use the UPB and still prefer the white TV box with more user friendly interface. |

QUOTE(jusbella @ Oct 7 2021, 09:49 PM) Sooka or Astro OTG is same live stream? Will there be any delay for 25-40 second compared to satellite based? Astro does not offers low latency streaming, or ultra low latency streaming when watching live TV channels on either Sooka or Astro Go.EPL on Astro OTG always delay too much compared to satellite. The average 30 seconds live streaming latency is consider "normal" to them. If streaming latency (delay) is your main concern, yet the sports content that you're anticipating aren't available on Unifi TV, then you'll just have to go for the satellite version of Astro then. If you don't like monthly commitment (or contracts) on Astro, you can consider using NJOI and subscribe to the Sports Mega pack pass for RM65/30days. |

QUOTE(juzmafia @ Oct 6 2021, 10:34 PM) That box is a RDK OTT box and doesn't have any satellite input. Looks like TM will use their own customized OS like Astro. The image looks more like HP43A. Hope the hybrid means VLAN600 + Wi-Fi. Yup the image is 99% same as HP43A.Even though, Skyworth has Android TV box with similar design as the UPB 2nd gen but none of them support AV1. Starting this year(Q2) any new certified Android/Google TV release must support AV1. Hopefully they choose proper remote this time with number button. Also that explains the shitty Unifi TV APP UI, where there is no guide, and instead you change the channel by going down and scrolling |

QUOTE(amir_baharuddin @ Oct 7 2021, 11:41 AM) As I read somewhere, they say all new channels will be free to view until end of the year, but my Hits Channel (not the movie one) got "youre watching preview"... Others ok to watch, no problem. Is there any one who faces this issue? I can't access SPOTV and SPOTV2 also. I'm not on ultimate pack. Are they supposed to be free till end of year? |

QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Oct 8 2021, 05:40 AM) https://9to5google.com/2021/06/23/android-t...0-g20-hands-on/ That statement is focused on app not OS.Apparently by default Android apps don't accept number inputs, hence any remote with numbers are usually for TV's with built in Android TV, and not dedicated Android TV box. Also that explains the shitty Unifi TV APP UI, where there is no guide, and instead you change the channel by going down and scrolling When they build app, the developer will add any required function/feature that they want that the OS support as long it follow Google's app quality standard to be released on Google Play Store In this case, Android TV OS support number pad because it is based on AOSP but for apps it depends on the app developer(or decision maker) to add the key code to their app and the shitty Unifi TV UI has nothing to do with with it. Refer here for list of keycode Android support: https://developer.android.com/reference/and...d/view/KeyEvent It is now up to TM to provide better app and take advantage of what Android TV(Operator Tier) offer to them. Android TV is not perfect but there's is a lot can be done. This post has been edited by juzmafia: Oct 8 2021, 01:00 PM aniq8676 liked this post
