Just d/l the unifi app from playstore n the id n user name doesn't work, what did i miss out.tq

Hi guys i currently have hypptv old stb but recently bought new androidtv. I would like to use the playtv app on the new TV instead of the stb.

Unfortunately, it requires a username and password but different as the unifi? Im guessing i need to ring 100 for these credentials?

I too just install unifi tv on my tv but seems a bit blur pq compare with std or did i miss something out

Two new channels - HITS HD (CH 454) and HITS Movies HD (CH 407) will launch on both Unifi TV and Unifi PlayTV starting October 1st. However, both channels only have BM subtitles. I wonder whether they will bring in Chinese subtitles soon. 😅

My internet speed is 500mbp n come package with unifi ultimate n @iptv. Anyway thanks bro i got my password from Telekom this morning n its working flawlessly but pq blurish even with HD channels compare with the standard std.

Im running on ethernet with consistent speed around ~70Mbps (using powerline adapter). Certain live channels is a bit blurry (although i can understand because my TV native is 4k) and some VOD is not automated to highest quality, i need to change it on my own. I can't find any settings to make it all channels to be defaulted to highest quality, is this even a thing?

I'm guessing IPTV VLAN600 would require STB? correct me if im wrong.

How do you get it to be run wireless without using LAN?

When I discuss and comment this issue at official D+H page and unofficial group been attack by some people. "Call me back to China.", "At Malaysia don't know Bahasa" "Last time tv1,tv2,tv3 only bahasa subtitles now why complaint?"  and alot unpleasant word.
I not rasict but here is Malaysia with different kind of people and language. We pay money for the service and have right to ask.

Ideally, they should. OTT streaming is the trend now, so this is what they should be focusing on. But there’s still room for improvement on both the unifi Plus Box and the unifi PlayTV app.

They should release updates for the plus box (still stuck in Android 9) from Skyworth, and improve overall compatibility for other streaming apps like Netflix by making it Android TV certified.

The playTV app should be updated with some existing features the IPTV box already has—channel mosaic, PIP, original quality of the stream, etc.

I hope ‘customised OS’ means they will use Android TV with operator tier—integrate the Android TV user interface with their existing IPTV interface somehow, or creating a new one, or like what Astro says they’ll do by the end of this year, use a Linux interface and somehow allow installation of Android apps.
So hybrid meaning both IPTV and OTT streaming.
But honestly, the quality should stay the same if they’re using this hybrid box. All they need to do is use the same stream as the white box and you should get the same quality. And there’s that added benefit of being able to install Android TV apps on hopefully a nice-looking user interface.

Awww man... 😧😩 But that "hybrid" could mean either:

1) OTT + IPTV Multicast
2) OTT + Satellite (DVB-S2) TM plans to launch own satellite TV service, to compete with Astro and the upcoming Sirius TV? 🤨
3) OTT + Terrestrial (DVB-T2) Nah, makes no sense to me.

The current Unifi Plus Box only works in OTT mode, isn't it? (I assume it is technically known as Unicast, similar like Astro's Plug & Play)
Maybe TM wants to provide support for the IPTV Multicast on its upcoming box model, on top of OTT mode? And that's why it is called "hybrid"? 🤔
Still, I'm not sure if TM intends to abandon its IPTV Multicast service and just go focus with its OTT mode or what..... After all, the fibre infra is theirs...
But if the upcoming so-called "Hybrid" box would allow users to watch the channels via IPTV Multicast (the one that uses VLAN), would you still want that white box?

The image looks more like HP43A. Hope the hybrid means VLAN500 + Wi-Fi. That way the dedicated multicast IPTV network can still be used and the image quality will be 'broadcast grade' like with previous STBs as well as uninterrupted by network congestion while having the possibility of running streaming apps.
