I setting my router, Lan 3 for UPB Hybrid then Lan 4 for STB white colour.
upb hybrid i switch on wifi and Enthernet.

Funny thing is I realized the black box is force hdr when I check the status from my Sony tv. Which this may answer ur concern

But the color still manageable to me since I just use the box for unifi tv only, so I don’t really mind.
The only I hate is I changed to black box and still facing recurring hiccup image and low audio from live channel using vlan 600 and now the issue solved by using vlan 500

this "hiccup" on unifitv channels have been around for a long time.

it doesn't happen on every channel, though.

unifitv pretends not to know but i m sure they do.

it probably has to do with the various video frame rates... 24, 25, 50, 60 fps of various videos .

i wud think they haven't invested the money to fix them all.

No solution to fix the hiccup via vlan600 and TM no really plan to fix that while they may plan close it gradually.

HBOGo is the shittiest them all. 480p or 576i... shame on them still offering this shit in 2023.

if they have good and bad streams, it only serve to give them a bad name if they dun stop selling the cheap bad streams.

how do u tell if any video on HBOGo is 1080p?

HBOGo titles are labeled with "HD" only. i m quite sure they r at best 720p, maybe 720i or lower.

becos compared to others, they are ALL poor.

Netflix titles display info: HD = 1080p SDR; HD HDR = 1080p HDR; 4k HDR = 2160p HDR.

Disney titles... some shows display 4K HDR 5.1 Atmos - self explaining.

Iqiyi - u can click on icon to see they r all 1080p.

You have to understand unifi is only strong from network and telecommunications backbone. Although they have hypptv for so long till now become unifi tv but they still have no clue for right direction previously and lack of experts to handle the tv infras but they have resource. Right now unifi tv has better lead and is sourcing for right vendor to handle their tv infras.

That’s why astro are still monopolised the cable tv market and right now they started need to shift the business to compete unifi when they starting to lose.

Give some time la bro haha. I also feel you when paid but get lousy service. Fed up on the unifi tv app donut spinning.

Right now TM is pumping on unifi tv since they are scouring for vendor to help manage the infras and providing experts to do the job. Just that just a bit late for now they prioritise this. And yes TM is shifting unifi tv business to OTT hence they starting abandon vlan600 which also Ast** also doing the same thing.
