Crazy high fares with smooth traffic in KL yesterday.

KLCC - Putrajaya RM60 so I ignored all pings from KL heading to KLIA 🤣

11am-2pm & 3pm-6pm RM350 easily.

Returned from Singapore just now.

Inside KLIA, right after customs, I saw a Grab counter, but nobody was manning it.

Wondering what that's for

Is for people (especially tourist without the Grab apps install) to book for Grab ride via those counter. Is self service. Got device there (usually is an ipad), for you to order Grab. Subang airport also got the same thing there.

It doesn't make sense. 1 iPad can only one job. If so, also need to wait till rider reach home, then the same iPad can only order for another job. Some more after order, you can't take away the iPad to recognize or communicate with your driver. So it doesn't make sense. What if suddenly 10 people wanna book at same time? Berapa iPad Baru cukup?????

Surely that ipad use special app where it can order another car. But it will be difficult for them to know if the car arrived or for ir the driver to contact the rider

Hi guys, just wondering if I'm start8ng Grab, and I have the choice of doing it in Melaka, KL or JB, which would be the best choice?

It's a toss between KL and JB. Forget about Melaka.

The fares in JB aren't as high as the ones in KL (although you'll be surprised with "High Fares" worth RM5 in KL 🤣) but the traffic in JB isn't as bad as in KL, provided you're not near the causeway.

But one thing is for sure though, people in Johor tend to drive quite fast in the city, and it doesn't matter if it's during the day or night.

KL / Klang Valley will be the best choice.

Isn't that a good thing? A friend of mine who drives fast has 4.95+ rating. I assume passengers would prefer reaching their destinations sooner.
