I thought it was my SmartDNS acting up again but looks like Unifi is really jammed up now. On Google DNS.

Maybe yesterday night indonesia earthquake affected the undersea cable, thats why u get full speed in speedtest with local speedtest server but not in international server. I don think changing the DNS will help cause i changed many too

Update on my issue.

So, TM tech came today. Turns out there was "injured" cable a bit further down the road from my house. They found the cable has a cut mark, as if somebody trying to cut it. The cable was near to coconut and rambutan tree so maybe someone trying to steal the fruits and the cable got in the way. Also down the road a few meters there was a bunch of branches resting on the cable.

The cable has been replaced since.

They also change my BTU (HUAWEI-HG8240w) to the new one (HUAWEI HG-8240H). Speedtest shows I can easily reaches 800Mbps..and oh, ran a speedtest to InNET server got me 470Mbps on 5Ghz AC WiFi, iPhoneX.

But, even though the speedtest shows good speed, my internet is very laggy, even on my phone trying to access pubg server took awhile.

No issue here. IP address starts with 42.

Not unifi user, but my streamyx also like this. All my friends also like this, me kena since morning, some last night. One of them is unifi.
Live chat them 3 times dy, really been unhelpful except the guy that help me reset port very polite and kind and technical but cannot continue chat with him because need reset modem

Edit : I'm In Penang. My line is now 144kilobits per second only.

Having read many reports on this forum it seems to me that the issue may also be location specific infrastructure related, not just IP related.

E.g. @fruitie is on a 42.xxx.xxx.xxx IP but not facing issues, but many others are on 42 IPs and are/were facing issues. Ditto for the 175.xxx.xxx.xxx IP range.

Can't access netflix and browsing works but very slow. Started early this morning.

Everyone is calling and trying to logon to chat support. I can't even open a chat window in Unifi's support page. Calling 100 has me on-hold forever...

There is obvious issue with Unifi yesterday & today. Seems we are still in the dark ages, no formal announcement of outage anywhere...

I can get full speed if there is any peer are from Malaysia , but if there is no peer from Malaysia the download speed is just damn slow (less than 100kbps)

Are your friends and you using TM own router? If you are, maybe the DNS have been hard coded into the router. All of us that are using own routers and own DNS probably is okay.

I’ve tried unifi DNS, google DNS and SmartDNS ( private dns server). All no use. I have various friends near me using unifi that have various hardware all not getting any service either.

Penangfon is ok.

the previous issue solved with a new modem replacement by TM
line speed now can achieve 800Mbps with lan cable (but on my bro laptop)
