800Mbps for usage? i doubt one will need it, as for now you still 100Mbps... of cause higher the better but i dont think one will need 800Mbps just my 2 cents

but since you need it, better fight for yourself, TM might give you 500Mbps and reduce your price to RM159 like what they done to others...

TM suddenly gave me RM30 x 10 months rebate because of my complaint to MCMC

since last year Nov 2017, i pay RM189 for 100Mbps (promotion upgrade from 50Mbps RM179 + RM10)

then my bills show UniFi 100Mbps RM99, Ultimate RM60 and Ruby RM30
recently i complaint to MCMC that TM charge me extra and refuse to remove Ruby

these few days TM call me inform me will rebate RM300 (RM30 x 10 months) into my accounts by next bill
my UniFi is actually upgraded to 500Mbps near end of October 2018 (my UniFi package suppose entitle 800Mbps upgrade), somehow they only give me 500Mbps and reduce package price to RM159 after they remove Ruby, now my UniFi 500Mbps bills is somehow like this according to TM CS => UniFi 500Mbps RM99, Ultimate Package RM60, total RM159



i actually went to TM point and ask to change my Ultimate to Ruby, but unable to do so, due to promotion upgrade from 50Mbps to 100Mbps on Nov 2017 actually have 2 years contract for HyyppTV (but my UniFi is no contract), so i have to wait until Nov 2019 only can switch package... possible to become RM129 for 500Mbps + Ruby

no idea haha, now is RM159 for UniFi 500Mbps + Ultimate... i try to change to Ruby, but not possible til my HyppTV contract ends on Nov 2019

i know some get RM129 for 500Mbps, but not with Ultimate, but my STB is sleeping all the while, never use

yes, i understand, but some people 50Mbps upgrade to 500Mbps still paying RM179, i have friend getting this, so i dont know how TM done for all customers that using 500Mbps now

because from Nov 2017 til Oct 2018, i am paying RM189 for 100Mbps, TM return me RM30 x 10 months for period from Nov 2017 til Oct 2018, so it means i am paying RM159 for my 100Mbps from Nov 2017 til Oct 2018 (lose some GST because they return RM30 x 10 months)

because the promo upgrade from 50Mbps to 100Mbps last year Nov i remember they said will have 2 years contract, i check with CS, they said is hypptv contract not unifi

i just tried my luck with MCMC, who knows TM so serious after MCMC look for them

i think technically my upgrade from 50Mbps to 100Mbps, they should make UniFi 100Mbps RM129 + Ultimate RM60
somehow they make it RM99 + RM60 + RM30 in my bills

so now TM refund me RM30 from Nov 2017 to Oct 2018 (which is ~10months), so it means i pay >RM159from Nov 2017 til Oct 2018 after they return me RM300

ya, thats what TM told me refund RM30 x 10 months from Nov 2017 til Oct 2018 (because my upgrade to 500Mbps is from Oct) in which already removed Ruby become RM159

UniFi is pay first, are you new to UniFi or upgrade/downgrade plan?

if you are new, you have to pay for next month first
for example you install on 1Nov, your bill date is 15Nov, first bill will cover 15Nov to 14Dec + 1Nov to 14Nov
which is about 1.5 times your monthly

mine 500Mbps, still getting 7ms ping as usual... but i streaming twitch, cant hit max 500Mbps

i not sure downgrade penalty but giving a shot to complain at skmm might give you some surprise, maybe a rebate for over price monthly package previously can earn back lol

my bills today just show

RM118 for 500mbps (period 19 Dec to 18 Jan 2019), +6% around RM125

my unifi turbo around end of Oct, last months bill weird bit because pro rate i think, this month i expect RM159 but somehow become RM118, my unifi dashboard show RM140 and RM70 discount, dont know how they give discount

the break down is
RM38 for unifi
RM60 for ultimate package hypptv
RM20 for std20

my case could be quite similar to yours, just that they remove ruby, so i dont have additional RM30 like yours, only ultimate RM60

since some reported 800mbps cheaper is RM159, most of them from RYE package i guess, like me from RYE, i suppose entitle RM129 for 500Mbps lol, anything more than RM129 consider expensive but now RM99 i gonna keep quiet first haha

in fact one of my real life friend also 800mbps and pay RM159 + 6% only, he got upgraded last month

before turbo i paid RM189 for RYE 100Mbps, i suppose to get 800mbps, but somehow multiple mcmc complaints lead to they refund RM300 for me (for 10 months RM30 ruby pack overcharge) and only upgrade to 500mbps, then i did live chat with them confirm the new turbo 500mbps pricing, they said have to wait next billing cycle... after 2 bills, it become possible RM99
