Anyway, am supposed to get turbo-ed to 800 but not happening yet. I am looking into getting a good router to support.

Also, is it possible to terminate the hypptv subscription? I’ve never used the STB. If possible, I will really like to terminate the Ruby package to cut rm30 per month. Not on any contract for both unifi and hypptv for the past 2 years.

Also, does the attached ONU (is it also called the BTU???) supports 800Mbps? If not, will TM change it without contract? If need to get contracted then I will want TM to change all the peripherals - dect phone, btu,router - since it will be like applying for new anyway.

The BTU is able to support and no you're not allowed to cancel hypptv as early unifi adopters it came bundled with the plans.

Using umobile data logon to Live Chat,
they reset port for me, and restart equipment.
Now back to normal.. but ping still high,
so I connected to VPN for streaming TV box.

As for router suggestion, it is available on post #1. HyppTv is a must and no way to cancel it.

The internet has been super unstable ever since I switched to the 100mbps package. It was fine when I was on the 30 mbps. Now frequent disconnects when I am playing games etc it’s getting frustrating

Maybe I should download the playtv@unifi app to watch the dang ruby package...can I do that right? Any extra costs to watch on phone or tablet instead of using the STB? I believe the new subscribers don't get the STB anymore so they can watch using the app but what about old subscribers?

I don't get to watch tv cos my parent monopolised the TV for astro sports and dramas

No extra cost. in fact you can watch on 2 devices with the Ruby pack included. Just download the Playtv@unifi app and login with your username (xxx@iptv) and password. Should you forgotten the PlayTv password call 100 to ask for it. You can also watch with PC on This page.

Side note: maybe it's time for another TV, because not all channel are available in the app. Some only can watch through STB.

No to new TV. Am hardly at home weekdays. Leave house at 6.30am and comes back around 830-9pm only. Phone, tablet or PC is sufficient!

my network is weird af now, playing games and stuff wont disconnect but once youtube 1080p the LAN will get random disconnected,

seems a lot of user reporting slowdown.

yesterday a lot of buffering, off router overnight.

Here at Ipoh still very slow browsing. Games like PUBG, Fortnite all need 20 minutes to enter game.

YouTube main page doesn't even want to load.

whats weird is that when i speedtest i get my actual speed.
But when i try and update aps on my phone via wifi and also watch youtube via my desktop, its daaamn slow ! i also got a DRIVER EASY ap whereby it helps downloads and update all my desktop aps. The thing is moving like a snail, so far its taken forever to even download 3 mb when i need to download like 200+ in order to update all my aps.
I just tried downloading a random game from my steam library , and to my surprise im getting the optimum speed. Damn confusing la..

You try speedtest on SG server then you will know the problem
