BTU okay Huawei HG8240
ROUTER okay TP-Link C1200  - (too bad don't have another router to test  sad.gif  with)

just testing the speed via lan for 300 mbps.

what's NIC?
*
Network card for PC. What RJ45 cable are you using? CAT 5e or Cat 6? Maybe try with another Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable. If it is still the same result, your PC is probably capping your speed at 100Mbps.

Asus has global firmware, so it is the same setting up the router, except that it is Chinese at the beginning, which can be set to English.

You must be on Streamyx. Unifi which utilizes VLAN tagging does not use the unifiTV bandwidth in any way, as the unifiTV VLAN is tagged differently, which makes it on a separate path compared to the Internet.
What I meant is HyppTV is not counted in 60GB total quota. If it is, it would kill your monthly quota easily, about 3 terabytes per month if u watch 24/7.

But yes, 60GB per minth is too little even for basic usage. My home consumes 2-3 GB every day.

Nope. It's counted
It's because the plan does not include STB. So hypptv play is considered internet traffic and counted towards monthly quota

Ah okay, you are right though about the Hypptv consuming a lot of bandwidth, and 60GB is totally not enough.

Be sure to buy solid core 8P8C connector and not those cheap stranded 8P8C that designed to be used with stranded wire, it also recommended that you purchase 8P8C connector that deisgned to pass CAT6 fluke test, also is you have extra budget you can buy a plug boots for cable strain relief and reduce chance/preventing those stupid pin from breaking
*
1. How do I differentiate the solid core vs stranded 8P8C RJ45 connector?
2. Is there any label or sign that shows the connector is designed to pass CAT6 fluke test?

Any recommended shop that has all the service about?

Which model of Asus router are your eyeing on?

11.11 should give you a good deal, but shipment back to Malaysia might take longer time~

If no STB and using app instead, then it's counted.

Sounds like the router can’t handle that many devices. You probably have to change router.

Register trial? They should have given you the account ID for it.

Just ask the installer for the SIP settings.
