Hi, I just got TIME installed in my house last Saturday for 100M plan. For the provided 2-in-1 ONT Huawei HG8145V5, anyone know if the phone/tel port still usable after the ONT changed to bridge mode? Currently I’m using it as modem + router (default).
Thank you!

Tel/Phone port remains functional.

I plan on subscribing to the Time 1Gbps soon, but I wanted to ask a few questions:

1) Is the Huawei wifi-6 decent? How well it compares to a Xiaomi AX9000?
Yes, it's fairly good in both performance & signal coverage. Anyway Xiaomi AX9000 is far more powerful.

2) Do their mesh points have ethernet ports so that I can connect a game console to it?
Yes all mesh nodes have ethernet ports.

Thanks in advance.

*
Hi, by default dynamic public IP is served.

Hi all, i planning to switch from tm to time internet, but I don’t know what I should do first, contact to tm for termination or apply time first?
Can I apply and install time first?

It really depends, usually at least 3--9 months, there are cases take 1--2 years.

Yes you can apply & install TIME first, if TM allows you to terminate right away without giving the advance notice.

Hi
I would like to seek some information, I have recently change to Huawei Wifi Huawei HG8145X6. However, I find that the connection of the wifi is not stable and some times my PS5 will disconnect or can't connect to internet. However, for my pc connected to the router via cable it is ok.

Any advice on this?

Thanks

If you want to upgrade to WiFi 6 Router then additional RM99 to WiFi 6 router.
Or you can use own router, tell the technician on the spot to convert.
*
Mileage may vary. The installer assigned to me refused to support converting to bridge mode and let me use own router (which I already configured and only pending PPPoE credentials). In the end contacted Time Support after he left - "Fine - I will do it myself".

Anyone want to buy the Huawei Wifi5 mesh node from me? Brand new unused except for the installer to "demonstrate OK and sign".

Hi friend i subscribed Time 500mbps and upgraded to HG8145X6. But my router is at living room but my computer and laptop at master room i.e. 2 room away, around 15m away with 3 concrete wall in between. So if I buy AX3 Pro is it sufficient to repeat it to master room to reap for full speed so i can use lan cable at master bedroom / got 5ghz wifi. Or i will need stronger mesh modem to repeat it?

If you want full speed, pull a cable from your router to you master bed room.

Or

Build a mesh

Temporarily, if you want to get better speed, move your router closer to your dining hall, open your masterbedroom door and test the speed.

Yes. The phone line is not from the existing wall port.

Today I noticed a big wooden spool with wire outside my apartment complex area, and noticed the TIME logo, does this mean time will serve my area soon? so far my area has been served exclusively by Maxis only (no TM Unifi) and no other TIME spots nearby

Time internet doesnt need wall port. It lays a new fiber cable that should plug in direct to your fiber termination device in a location you choose.

Yes, we will pull in a optical fibre cable into your house & setup an ONU/ONT (aka Fiber Modem). The phone line will be connected to one of the Tel port on this device.

Thanks.
