If let say, I don't want to use the mesh nodes? Just keep it by the side, would they still need to come into my house?

You can, but you will need to sign the work completion docket & agreed with terms written on it. Our SI will guide you on it.

Thanks.

Guys, currently i was provided the HG8145V5. Under the Maintenance Diagnostic setting, there is a menu to change the Reboot setting.

I have been playing with this setting but i could not set up the router to auto reboot. Any help?

Hi, technically can but not recommended...I assume the word 'pair' is referring to wireless bridging & not meshing.

Hi, I am referring to meshing, it is can’t, the existing mesh note will be useless after changing router to other brand

Dear all,

would like to check, currently i am using Time with 500Mbps package (RM139 per month)

now i have 2 options, which is

1) relocate my time to new house, pay Rm120, get the 2 years renewal contract with freebie

OR

2) cancel my current subscription, subscribe new RM139 at my new house and get the freebie..

both freebie are different and i think option 1 will give better modem.. although what i need now is only the modem as my current house already have the wire mesh..

can i know which is the best option of this 2? thanks for the advice..

Hello, if you wish to use own router then option A will be the best. But you have to pay for the relocation fees.

Option B is fine. Need to ask CS to convert to Bridge mode.

For 500MBPS now using 2 in 1 modem + router.
Bridge mode is when you want to use own router.
Like disable WiFi on the main unit, LAN 1 set as WAN Port then connect to own router. Setup PPPOE through own router.

if like what you say.. i think cancel current package and apply new 1 will be a better option.. because since both modem is the same.. just renewal will get 2 wire mesh and aplpy new with 1 wire mesh..

i save rm120 by applying the new.. and i dont need the wire mesh anyway.. i already have mine.. but maybe i will just have to alert the CS to help me setup my wire mesh at new unit during installation.

Any of you having intermittent connection after enabling IPv6 on Time.

I've been using it for about 2 years+ and only recently swapped to a TP-Link AX73. Enabled IPv6 on it and some sites/apps / CDN are super slow to load.

It's ok on IPv4.

it seems like TIME is offering royalty program now. +RM10 for 300Mbps + Huawei router with 2 years contract. Worth?

Besides that, just curious will Time change the ONU?

Moving in to condo with TIME fibre only, damn i stress man.

A lot post mention time latency to oversea (us,eu etc) is mediocre compare to unifi.

A lot less PoP compare to unifi.

And has frequent latency spikes

Is that true guys?
