QUOTE(Mashed Potato @ Aug 25 2021, 06:23 PM) Stumble upon a website called iwifi that gives Rm20 rebate monthly for a year for Times Subscription, is this a hoax? Will my contract with Times be the same as the typical ones? Hi,Below are the standard promos going on. RM10 Off x 24 Months for 500Mbps & 1Gbps plans. Please avoid those unofficial channels. Thanks. |

I just signed up a new account months ago and got two units of WA8021V5 (One included in the package, and top up for another node).
It perform much worst than my previous EC230. Weak antenna (2dbi only), slow throughput between nodes, frequent disconnection, and inconsistent router node switching. If you are considering to get this model, my advice is don't. Even their "wifi expert" also admitted that this model is memang limited in term of performance. ![]() |

Need to prior inform the installer/CS before installation or just during installation can ask the technician to do bridge mode then I use my own router? You can do it during Installation. Remember t's not the scope of Installer to setup your own router, it may impose a setup cost. Thank you. |

![]() Hi i have been using Time broadband for awhile and I switched to the mesh nodes to try and remove certain dead zones, but did not really help (my setup was one as router and one as mesh). I am nw thinking to try and buy ax20 router to replace them. The thing is in my case so I need to do the "bridge" thingy or I can just plug and play the new ax20 router (with pppoe credential)? No need to contact CS to convert to bridge. You just need to have PPPoE details ready to setup. |

QUOTE(Diran Hans @ Aug 28 2021, 01:31 PM) hey guys, im sure this been ask alot ... The top speed for the Gigabit plan is 940Mbps to be exact.im planning to upgrade my internet to 1gb and im currently using ax20 .. my question is can i reliably get 1gb speeds on lan with the ax20? The AX20 can support that on wired LAN and up to 800Mbps on 5Ghz with a fast WiFi 6 laptop. Phones will be slower. |
