I am on 500 mbps plan. Looking at the option to replace the wifi router. Any suggestion for brands or models? Thanks.

I would like to recommend you to get TP-LINK AX20 or AX73 or AX90.

Do let me know the house size in sqft to recommend you better.

Hi. Thanks for the prompt reply. Condo. About 1200sqf. Currently the original router s wifi range is a bit spotty. The furthest room unable to get good connection.

Get AX73. If willing to spend more then get AX90.
Or Deco m9 plus dual pack.

Hi guys, I’m moving in to a place with time fibre for the first time for me. I check the website and for my likely package (100mbps), I will be getting a HG8145V5 Huawei modem router.
If I’m not mistaken this is an optical network terminal + WiFi + router all in right?

Assuming it’s crappy, can I use this as the modem / ONT only and use my own asus router? In my new place 1450 sqft with 3+1 rooms I’m worried about coverage so I want to setup a mesh system. The main router will likely be in the living room. And there won’t be any Ethernet back haul I’m afraid.

So i want to buy a new Asus router (AC59U v2), and maybe another one if a wireless mesh is needed to reach some dead Zones.

Is this a good plan? I have an older non mesh asus router working for unifi that is getting old, I may convert that to an access point first if some Ethernet connection is doable.

I am trying to keep wiring cost down and if possible avoid putting a LAN port in every room.

Thank you for the interest on TIME FIBRE.
The router for 100Mbps and 500Mbps is 2 in 1 Modem + Router combo.

You can contact TIME CS to change the combo modem and router into bridge mode so that you can use own 3rd party router.

We do have promotion for 500Mbps and 1Gbps plan.
100Mbps promo valid online only.

Just checked my self care account, usually billing due date is on the 28th of the month, but somehow my next billing due date has been shift forward to 22nd July (bill of 28th June). Is this normal?

Just bought AX73. The coverage is so good. I can get full 500Mbps on all devices now. Previously using Huawei 2 in 1 can only get 50+Mbps on my laptop separated by 1 thick wall.

Hi guys,

my JMB finally intends to invite time to deploy fibre at our condo.

Can the relevant PIC from time contact me? Thank you.
