I am using tp link deco x60 with 1gbps, when I using the speed test in the router I only able to get max 800mpbs… is it possible to get full speed?

Use an Ethernet LAN cable and test it manually using Ookla's speedtest desktop app.

80% of the priomised speed is good enough. Like every other ISP, Time do oversell their bandwidth else your Internet will easily cost 3x more.

Considering right now it's FMCO everyone is staying at home, some locations got quite congested.

Hi. Let say I am moving to new place next month and found out time fibre is available. Can I register for Time and arrange for installation after I moving in? The bill will be based on installation date or registration date?

Yes, you can. The bill charge starts on the day you activated (installed) your line.

Anyone know if Internet installation is allowed in condos during FMCO?

Management giving me trouble saying that SOP don't allow new installation, only allow fixing during FMCO. However I've looked through Strata management SOP and although it expressly allows fixing of electrical and plumbing during FMCO, but nothing mention on new installation, only cannot do renovation and moving house.

Anyone got any news/articles clarifying this ah? Difficult wfh with my shitty mobile data only.

I guess it depends on your management. I just saw an installer came by my condo for installation.

Yes we do perform Installation by following strict SOPs.

Management giving me trouble saying that SOP don't allow new installation, only allow fixing during FMCO. Management has the final say whether to allow the Installation based on the situation in each property.

Would like to ask for advise on the scenario as below

- Existing 100Mb TIME subscriber
- Using old type of of Optical Network Terminal Huawei HG8240H
- Would like to ask if possible to request for replacement to the latest HG8145V5 OmniMesh Router? Because I would like to renew my contract to get the OmniMesh (Essential Starter Pack) for free to extend my WiFi coverage
