less rm20x24 month =rm 119, agreed on mesh.. today just upgrade speed suck from 500mb speedtest 100-150mbps only..need to duduk nearby the router(not nearby mesh) only can get 500mbps speedtest

yeah... the huawei mesh given by time is just trash.. dun expect too much that it will improve the speed comparing to ur existing devices (even they are just wifi 5).

best solution is to go with FTTR... actually in long run it is not bad investment if u are not moving house anytime.
i just wonder the FTTR devices by time, can it be used with other ISPs next time? or just purely can be used with time only.

im different person la haha..FTTR will suck more money from me aduyai..i already report to TIME support they will sent technician come to troubleshoot.. if still can't get 500mbps then i ask them to pull fiber masuk my pc room since im the one pay the bill hehehe ..those user kat luar can enjoy slow speed hahaha

If the fibre pt can be shifted to the middle part of the unit it will help to better place the mesh nodes to get better coverage and speed though.

3 meter? Much as well dun do the mesh. 🤪

These two huawei free mesh routers they give are simply trash. U need to stand in front to get full speed.

I only use one of them as modem becos no choice.

I downgraded to100mbps thru self care portal. How long it take to change?

Does it show under the portal any term and condition changes after the downgrade? e.g. contract reset?

Do share ur experience after downgrade if 100Mbps is sufficient or not?

for me, yes, to save cost. Somemore I could not fully utilise the 500Mbps bandwidth.

Are you off-contract? Otherwise, downg would reset the contract into a new contract period.

Already downgraded this morning.

The experience is same, no lag or latency. Watching TV box, my kids watching YouTube fhd, me also watching tiktok

Before downgraded, I called customer service to double confirm and portal show the last contract date. No reset or contract extension

100Mbps more than enough for casual content consumption.

The bottleneck is the WiFi router anyways

The free router from ISP can hardly deliver more than 100Mbps after 2 walls.

Save cost. 1 year can save around rm400 including sst.

100mbps is more than enough for normal usage, Netflix, youtube, tiktok for 3-4 devices concurrently.

Even can watch 4k content with 3 devices concurrently.

No contract reset for downgraded. Checked the self care portal after downgraded complete.

Then you are off-contract period. Otherwise, you will need to adhere to another 24 months contract period.
