always active refers to extending the validity when making purchase of internet plans right?

My experience so far with U Mobile Prepaid is that my validity do get extended when i purchase U Borneo Plan that costs RM20 monthly
not sure if it's applicable for the Rm5 call plan or other data plans though.

My experience :
validity exp 12-07-2025 , buy GT25 plan got 30day validity , final is validity still expire 12-07 , GT25 plan still running it own validity count , without the main validity cannot use GT25 plan .

Most ppl don't understand that there are two types of validity.

1) Plan validity (this is always 30 days) and not important at all.

2) Credit / SIM / Line / Account / Active validity. This is the most important "validity" to monitor.

....... Those with TM Unifi Home Fiber often do this, ie just spend RM30 annually (= RM5 X 6, since 6 X 60 days = 1 year) to keep the Prepaid phone number "alive" or not terminated.

Those who rely only on a Prepaid plan for their highspeed "unlimited" Internet and calls/SMS often do auto renewals every 30 days for RM20 to RM40 with their topups = no worries about phone number being inactive/non-validity (cannot surf Internet and make calls/SMS) or losing their phone number when the deadline of 60-days passive period ends.

After reload didnt subscribe anything, waited until 5 June to subscribe U Borneo Prepaid RM20, which auto renewed on 5 July.

This led to new so called Credit/SIM/Line/Account/Active Validity of 4/8/2025 as seen in the screenshots

Only for their data plan.

If I am not mistaken, last time I subscribe their monthly data plan internet follows the 30 days subscription from day 1 you subscribe which is always active.

But calls and sms are barred and they follow the credit validity instead. So your internet continues to work during the plan is active but if your credit expires earlier you can't make calls out.

Expiry was 10 days away after I reloaded rm10. Then i subscribed to Borneo plan rm20.

My credit validity extended to 30 days. Can call and data both.

But I am in east Malaysia using Borneo 20 plan. Not sure about other umobile plan.

I cam confirm Celcom also automatically extends validity for any plan purchased. It’s in their T&C

Once you finish the 5GB, it will start consuming from your main data cap

You may need to "activate" it by "purchasing" an Add On (1 time) from the Add On menu

Don't remember as I've been using U38 for a long time

Is it still possible to port in an existing mobile number from another telco to U Mobile by buying a prepaid pack yourself and starting the process online? I don't seem to find that option on thwir website anymore...
