u see competition is great for customers. now both Maxis and Unifi have tight games to attract customers to join their fiber. I got 6 months of free bill rm129 for 100mbps with wifi6 router by maxis, while just now, unifi counter back with rm129 300mbps 6 months free bill plus wifi6 router as well. currently on 30mbps under unifi.

2 years ago, unifi give me 43" LED TV for joining them from maxis 30mbps.

Hi there, just wanna ask for GX50, the speed is 5Mbps right? idk why i went to test speed in the app and it showed 20+Mbps for download, did Umobile upgrade the speed?

Upgrade from 30GB to 60GB instantly.
Hotspot 5Gb is given for free, then after finish it will then consume from pool of data

Postpaid 68

No changes (same like old plan) --> Hotspot 5Gb is given for free, then after finish it will then consume from pool of data

Postpaid 98

No changes (same like old plan) --> Hotspot 5Gb is given for free, then after finish it will then consume from pool of data

So meaning only Postpaid 38 will get the upgrade only! This is due to the 5G demand which needs more data and U Mobile have given to it!

I am paying rm58 monthly for GX68 postpaid plan after permanent discount. Do you think umobile will maintain a discount for me if I upgrade to GX98 plan.
Also is hotspots unlock only for 5g usage or include 4G.

Gx68 no 5g right? I move down to u40 prepaid, speed better and got 5g many places.

All Malaysia telcos (be it yellow, mandarin, green, blue,...) share the same tower and same infrastructure for 5G

And currently 5G is under 'TRIAL'

I notice speed test with umobile app and speedtest app with umobile server can get more than 1G speed on 5G, but fast.com only can get 190mb. Even update app also slower than 100mbps WI-FI

Umobile 5G can get 190Mbps speed on fast.com so means it did not limit video streaming speed.
Sometime even can get 600mbps speed on speedtest, so I think is routing unstable
