Last year i post, ppl say my is my problem

Can i know which outlets can i go to change from physical sim to esim? I asked a few umobile outlrts at smaller malls and all say cannot.

If you live in KL, you can try Berjaya Times Square or 1U because that's where their official service centres are located, the full list is here:

The ones in smaller malls are usually dealers, so they can't do the transition for you.

Question. Everytime I switch phones do I need to go to the service center to pay and request for a new qr or is the esim self transferable?

For Prepaid, how would you choose between the unlimited funz plan &5g ready plan?

I'm currently subscribing to the GX38, and saw that's an option to switch to 5G ready plan, unlimited data and free call quite attractive.

But wanted to know if there's any trap..

after upgrading you will lose access to the GX options and you cannot switch back.

since you are using GX38, then U35 will be a suitable replacement with the benefit of 5g access on weekends, provided the 100gb FUP is enough for you.

Thanks, Will observe for a while if any major downside on 5G plan before making no turning back decision.

Non transferable at the moment, basically have to pay for new esim every time you switch phones.

You might have to wait until esim become more mainstream then they might change their capitalist-ish policy.

yup. all esim need to walkin. only yoodo can do it by online. you will receive qr code by email. this is the reason why i tied up with yoodo. i keep switching phone from apple to android and back. further more, no charges.

Dang...Umobile always switch off my SIM after a while as i was trying to milk it to max.

Is anyone having issues with umobile hotspot?

I’m on the new 68 plan with free roaming.

On my phone I can get 300mbps 5G, 80mbps 4G but when hotspot it is below 500kbps

Nothing loads properly. Today I tried to do maybank2u transfer refused to load on computer but instant loaded on phone.

Tried multiple times on multiple different settings and devices

I am well below the 5GB limit as I only have used 200mb hotspot so far this week

Anyone else having this issue?

Maybe DON't like me....locking to one band using the "internet".

Maybe DNS problem.
Try change DNS to Google or 1.1.1.1

why do you lock to 1 band
you need multiple band for 4g and 5g to work seamlessly

Well it depend on your area..

Umobile starts to super turtle from 6pm onwards....as always...
But that particular band consistently maintain speed....Vroom...Vroom morning or night....infact all day butterly smooth

Kena kacau by them off..internet....etc..

Just found out this morning U Postpaid 38 now has 60GB?

System error or they upgraded the quota?

It seems U Mobile removed the 5GB hotspot restriction. Someone's gonna use the U98 plan as their home WiFi now LOL
