Hey guys, has anyone her had any experience with umobile roaming in india?

I have had no isseus in any country with umobile before but here i am not able to use 3g or 4g networks.

it just doesnt connect, or connects for a few seconds and then is forced down to 2g

local sim card users seem to have stable 4g

any way to fix this ?

im about to buy an esim to try and overcome the issue but we do have free roaming and would like to use it

For those under U postpaid 38 and 68, could you share whats your final bill amount after whatever taxes or charges imposed by umobile? This is of course considering nothing additional was utilized.

If your sim pack is Unlimited FUNZ you should have access to GX
If your sim pack is the 5G ready then you should only have access to U25/U35/U40 plans

Do you find yourself fully utilizing the 30GB at all every month?

A week before the monthly reset, I will purposely max out the remaining data (usually 10-15GB left) by torrenting and download pointless stuff like CCTV recordings from different places.

I have 3 postpaid plans from diff telcos, so nope I never ran out of data.

Now going back to your question: yes I (try to) fully utilize all of it, but avg usage like FB Twitter or even daily YouTube Twitch then 30GB is more than enough.

Just wondering if U25 plan shown in shopee same as U25 plan in the umobile app?
I just recently port over and 5G ready prepaid.
If buy from shopee U25 plan, its only RM 20 as compare to U25 plan in umobile app of RM 25.
My phone can only use 4G, not 5G capable.
