People don't complain about Mivi because its national car, kereta murah memang ada bunyi sana sini.... but with City, no way!, this is expensive car, Japanese brand, must be quiet like Rolls, rage rage rage. Funny thing is, many cars with ABS, inc my ex-Persona didn't have this "feature sound".

didnt really notice about this sound after owning for >5yrs....didnt bother me also. heheh

i wonder jazz got this sound? i sit old 1 version of jazz hybrid, old 1 version of city, current civic crv and old 1 version of crv and civic also no hear this sound. special made for gm6?

out of curiosity, if you bring your car for check / diagnose in honda SC after your warranty, will they charge you labor fee for troubleshooting? Or they check finish and quote you a price then either you walk away without paying anything or you pay and they fix it on the spot.

Not sure, I suspect it could be that ABS module is located nearest to driver unlike other models, which makes the sound more prominent.

I am quite certain they will charge you labour cost for inspection if they had to bring into the work bay. However I had gotten accident repair assessment and quotation at no extra cost before. YMMV.

In my case, like yourself, I drove a 2011 Persona Elegance previously and did not hear this sound. Hence my worries. But let's hope this legendary feature has been resolved for the new model tongue.gif

I asked my SA about City pricing and he said "most likely" RS variant will go past Rm100k.

Won’t be surprising due to all the features provided. Thought it’d be very high 90s and close to 100

I felt for you bro. Mine 2 years only, also lots of scars & scratches. Problem is no matter how careful I park at the public, it's still unavoidable. When I got back to my car, there's always some dumb people who park so near until I can hardly get into my car & i suspect some scratches are caused by passer by who carry goods. Heartbroken vmad.gif

Went to Nissan roadshow at 1Utama this morning around 11am . I won't pay Rm80-90k for this piece of toy .

The leather seat so hard and so ugly.

The only pros, boot very big , bigger or comparable with Honda City.

My gm6 approaching 6 years soon. Recently there's a jerk when accelerating at low rpm. Especially when the car just started and I am starting to move. Feels ok on first few seconds then there's a jerk like it suddenly lose power to move. Anyone experienced this?
Changed the fuel filter 1 year ago. Spark plug yet to change. Mileage only 50k.
Suspecting spark plug or fuel pump. Any guidance sifu?

But the safety features drool.gif ! Even base spec has AEB, really took the safety crown from City now. Honda Sense is likely going into RS only so the lower variants will be quite meh compared to Almera. And the larger car is a big welcome compared to new City that regressed in size (Thai ver).

6 years dy. If you haven't changed sparkplugs its time to change lar. And perhaps need to clean out carbon built up inside engine. Also I think need to change CVT oil if you havent done so. Best is to get ur pomen diagnose it for you whats the problem.

My car 6 year and 5 month old... before MCO time... my car also jerking in low rpm especially when start to move when traffic light turn to green from red...
ended up i go do throttle body clean...after done my throttle body clean... rpm go too high.....problem solve after i factory reset ecu.
For your case.... try change spark plug first....

Just a point to note (and this is shared to me by my SA), if you go thru daily traffic jams or frequently big multi-hour jams, your car usage is more than your mileage indicates and if you compound it thru the years, ur actual running of the car is more than the actual mileage. So ur servicing should be done sooner than ur mileage is reached.

Seems like same symptom as mine.
I'll check the air filter tomorrow. Probably too dirty blocking the air flow.
But how come do throttle body clean need to reset ecu?

Wanna check on this before I change my tires. Driving E with 175/65/15 rubbers and it’s time to change away from the crappy GT3. Most of the tires I want are are not in this size and the nearest would be 185/60.

Since Honda is pretty arse in warranty claims, I’m pretty sure changing to 185/60 would be a basis for them to void the warranty on suspension related items right? Anyone has any experience? The only 175/65 ok-ish rubber that I could think of is XM2+ which I’m not a fan of.

Honda service manual did say to replace sparkplugs every 100,000km or 5 years whichever comes first. Ur car ady went 6 years so.... yeah. You could bring it to ur pomen and ask him check on the contact pins of the plugs if still in good condition or not or corrosion have set in due to age.

Tyre don't affect warranty.
I'm using 180/60R15 now and still claimed new set of absorbers.

As long as you don't change the rim, then its good.
