I installed to a few cars before for my frens, I know the location but I won't tell because all my frens already remove it.
- the spring will have a loud sound when open
- the trunk will become senget after some time because the spring pull it too hard.
*
Walaoweh, thx bro for sharing!
U’re so selfish to be selfless, which i do appreciates.

I tried to put on few angle/location and really bery loud ngek ngek sound and also will have contact with the metals, then i removed it. I thought i put it in the wrong position.

Thx for sharing on the impact that it will senget my bonet. Now i see why even Honda dont give it along with the car as standard.

Guys, I just got my city. I am surveying about coating and came across Lavish.

Need some opinions.
*
All these big name shops just having a hips from heavy social media marketings, and you spend your money not for quality finishings, but for their marketing fees.
I'll recommend this fella, who is a professional detailer that works on-hand by himself. Charges is so reasonable, but the result is impressive compared to those RM3000-RM5000 coating fees paid in those hippy shops. Mind you, he travel to your place to do the works, so you dont have to send your car to him and then headache to travel away with Grab or find ppl fetch u off.

Try find him on Facebook -> Specialist Ceramic Glass Coating at MR.Razi 9H-Nano Ceramic Coating ON-WheeL, or Whatsapp him at 019-3776322 for more information.
Check out his works in Facebook on all the cars. He can only do 1 car/day coz he work himself, and do offer 3 types packages depend on layers of coatings.

Wow didn’t know that one cost few k -.-
Thanks man . But is it all dash cam better give to accessories shop for installation ? Like this isn’t better go their shop to ask for any good cam ?
*
You may or may not go to accessories shop to get them installed for you. The toughest part actually is just laying the cable from the 12V port to the camera, can do it yourself also.
If that particular shop have the camera you're looking for, then might as well buy from them and get free installations. Otherwise, many shops will just give you craps product and tell you there's a dragon and phoenix in it.

I bought my camera through Lazada, but get Honda SC to install for me during my car maintenance schedule, hence i dont pay for labours in accessories shop.

Don't say cut wire. Consider that they even help to route the wiring thru the roof headlining, thru the pillar, and into dashboard is already very lenient. Most SCs will refuse to do that since its not their job scope and they might be liable if something goes wrong.

SS2 one? Is it the Tenaga Setia branch?
*
Ya, Tenaga Setia.

ah! i have the same ratling issue as you, but cant replicate that ard service centre in puchong so i didnt complaint to them, yours always can hear the rattling sound? did the insulation sponge solve the issue?
*
Not solve. Now passenger and driver side dashboard also got rattling sound.
Rear side also got sound when going over bumps, im not sure is suspension or the rear seats didnt screwed properly.

Both these sounds issue is infamous in Facelift GM6.

Next week i go service im gonna raise the issues again.

Yeah..I personally think it was very annoying especially on uneven roads. No sure whether I'm too sensitive or what but man.. even my 20 yrs old Proton doesn't have such sound. I highlighted this issue to the SC twice but they cant seem to find the solution. During my last visit, they told me it was rear bush problem. Not a car expert so did not argue with SC.
*
Actually i suspect is the bush problem also. I'm not sure bush and the rear absorber mounting is the same thing or not, but there's a rubber thing there to reduce the impact/noise from the spring to body.
Not u sensitive la, its memanf loud and annoying. My kenari 16 years old also like this. Pay Honda price, get Perodua quality, damn disappointed eh.

Morning guys, a bit urgent. I heard sound when i steer to left and right.

Turn my steering...(tok)...turn again...(tok).  unsure.gif

The sound however not too obvious. I attached the video if u wish to look.

Anyone experience this before? How should i contact SC? Warranty claim maybe?

*car almost a year with 20k mileage
*
Go bac SC check. High possibility you got a defect steering rack, and if what i said is true, u will be able to claim 1 new set. If not covered under warranty, then be prepared to fork out few thousands.

Thanks thumbsup.gif , will do. Btw, any tips on what needs to say and what to avoid?
But i just did my 20k service last week. Only then i heard that sound. Btw, will they repair it there and then or have to wait for them to order for parts?
*
Just tell the service advisor the problem you facing lo.
They will check the issue and find the root cause. If minor problem and can solve they will solve immediately.

If let's say after their checking, need claim warranty, they will need to get approval from Honda Malaysia HQ.
Upon get the approval, they will only then order the parts and re-set an appointment date (normally weekdays) with you for the replacement.

This u have to ask ur friend or the service centre.
Perhaps they have different SOP.

Honda City entering 5 years. May I know if still need to bring to every 6 month to SC?
*
You've maintained your car in such a tip top condition by following the sceduled maintenance of 10,000km or 6 months first, so why bother changing the habits even after warranty period?

You may opt to service outside of SC when it comes to expensive wear and tear parts replacement provided you got a trusted mechanics out there and u know your stuffs well (e.g. brake pads, spark plugs), but when it comes to engine oil and CVT gearbox oil, i'll always go back SC coz they ensure they using Honda original recommended stuffs suitable for our car. If you don't have trusted mechanics out there, then i'll recommend you go back SC despite their higher price. Mechanics out there mostly are cunnings in many ways.
