Hi sifus, I have had my City for approx 2.5 months now and I realised that there's this faint "injection" sound every time I drive. It only occurs within the first minute of the drive and it only happens after starting my engine. I have recorded a video of it happening. The sound happens at about 0:42 in the video. Anyone else had this issue? Thanks dear sifus notworthy.gif

I guess so. But why you describe as injection sound? Usually people describe as knocking like klok sound

Because it actually sounds like "N2O activation" like in the racing movies laugh.gif or even like a pneumatic actuator for me because I don't hear the 'knock' when driving

When i first got my car i also shock to hear that tongue.gif
Didnt hear that kinda sound in other car that has ABS....

And that sound gives me a feeling that component wont last long, probably wrong, just 'feeling'... tongue.gif
Wonder why they cant make it a silent type like other car with ABS hmm.gif

lol.gif lol.gif lol.gif Even when this generation car about to phase out, there are still people asking about this infamous sound. Let's hope Honda eliminates this issue in the upcoming new City or we will never hear the end of it.

This morning a small stone caused a chip on my windscreen, was wonder what to do.

I think to just repair the chip instead of changing the windscreen because my car is tinted and there is a dashcam mounted on it. So it caused a lot of additonal money.

wonder if repair the chip, can claim insurance?

Weather can repair or not depends on where and how severe is the chip. If you have windscreen insurance add-on and covers the windscreen and tint price, why not make use of it?

If its just a nick on the surface or slight crackline, can go Dr Cermin to repair. It will be barely noticeable. If its more serious they will advice you what to do (ie replace or whatnot).

SC should be able to unmount it for you. To mount back maybe you need to go back to the shop. Or perhaps you can get some double sided adhesive tape to mount it? I don't have dash cam but I have TPMS mounted. I put a clear static sticker on the windscreen first before mount the TPMS on top of it. So if I want to take it off I just peel off the sticker.

Go for Viofo A129 Pro Duo. Front and back recordings.
Front camera is True 4K.
Price is decently tagged for such quality. Its running on capacitive instead of Li-ion batteries. Get it hardwired.

Find Sicurez Automotive Solutions in Subang. They are authorized reseller and can include installation with minimal fee.

P/S:
There aren’t many choices when it come to 4K UHD recording dashcam. Thinkware U1000 and Blackvue DR900S are also true 4K available in the market. Viofo price is just a small fraction comparing to these but quality is on par if not superior than these. Try do some study with Mr. Google.

RM800 for both front and rear ... wow ... totally out of my budget....was using Mijia FHD for almost 3yrs ... so far so good ... video quality quite decent ....

People don't complain about Mivi because its national car, kereta murah memang ada bunyi sana sini.... but with City, no way!, this is expensive car, Japanese brand, must be quiet like Rolls, rage rage rage. Funny thing is, many cars with ABS, inc my ex-Persona didn't have this "feature sound".
