Easy spoil? Not sure, but even my SA admitted its a lot more common and showed me the stacks of replaced rear suspensions for City, HRV, Civic. Somehow its more common with FL than with PreFL City. If urs haven't sound yet, consider yourself to be the lucky ones.

P.S Mine is not absorber but the torsion beam.

i claimed rear axle beam for squeky noise back in January, then my front pair of absorbers and ab-mounting last month due to squeky noise also.
City quality really worse than Proton/Perodua car.

That not the correct way...
A mechanic of mine , bought a car reset computer cost >rm10k
The com can use for any car brand... can update the latest software for most car brand...
this com must connect to our car OBD there to do factory reset or update...
For my case... i ask the mechanic do factory reset and check for error if any..
price around rm90 if i not mistaken...

Just for comparison sake, I never had to claim on such a major part on my Persona during my 8-9 years of ownership.

Though i dont need to do this at the moment, but saw the link you posted, dont understand the step 3 mention in that link leh...

"Step-3: Turn off the car remove the key (q1) and restart it again (q2). Turn on the car again (q3) and stable the RPM at exactly 2000 for 10 seconds and turn off the car and remove the key (q4)."

q1: remove key? its keyless leh...does it mean bring the remote(+key) far far till undetectable by car?
q2: restart without key (remote)? or press start button without stepping on brake? or what?
q3: not even sure abt q2 leh
q4: same as q1

confuse....

off and restart the car , as easy as that ...

With this abs kick in sound , on bright side at least we know that the abs are activated and working .

Thanks for the confirmation.
In my case, like yourself, I drove a 2011 Persona Elegance previously and did not hear this sound. Hence my worries. But let's hope this legendary feature has been resolved for the new model tongue.gif

Well, since it didn't bother you so far, just don't think of it as a defect and you can continue to drive happy. Haha biggrin.gif

Even if technically possible its just not worth it, even mod sifu here didn't take up this mod as dumb CC will find hardly use on our roads.

On highway long journey, run on wee hours, CC helps.

On other hand i hardly use manual gear shifting, lol

How nice if all special features are in optional list so that buyer can choose whats useful for them tongue.gif

I guess depends on what kinda roads we drive, I more mixed city & highways and being M'sian roads, ppl here don't stick to a certain speed. Problem with dumb CC is you have to self brake and then reactivate CC when seeing a slower moving vehicle, unlike ACC doing it automatically for you like on new City.

And if you leave enough gaping in front, ppl will tend cilok in, again you have to self-adjust CC.

For me I use paddleshift more often really for engine braking while in D mode.

But if you using highways that are straight enuff, and with lesser cars, yeah our dumb CC will work for you. So far I only done that with LPT going a good 15-20mins on CC uninterrupted.

Have you seen the photoshoot of the car in the articles ?
It has a single front facing camera and no frontal LIDAR/radar to be seen.
A single camera solution cannot do ACC. At most it can mimic dashcams. AEB warning/Lane Departure warning/Front Departure warning.

Y'all getting lied to by Honda Malaysia as usual. They shouldn't call a single camera solution, Honda Sensing. It's misleading.
You don't see Nissan calling their radar AEB under the ProPILOT moniker.

Hmm... I'm not sure if you notice it but if you see this (lazy to search other ppl's gallery shots so I slap on PT link)
https://s1.p--ltan.org/image/2020/08/2020-H...-Preview-10.jpg

The H badge is actually plastic similar to Merc S Class square at the grille which hides the RADAR behind.

That works with the camera at windscreen for AEB & ACC.

Interesting if true, never seen a lidar that well hidden.

Ok looks like radar behind badge on Honda was implemented in the Honda Pilot and acura models.
Looks like this new 3D badge + LIDAR-in-one is newly used in the Fit e:HEV (and then now, City RS).

Now, I hope it works as well as it looks. tongue.gif

Yup. The non-HS new City front has the standard embossed H as seen here
https://s1.p--ltan.org/image/2019/11/2020-H...nd-launch-4.jpg

I doubt Honda will spoil or let HM spoil their brandname by calling a crippled system, Honda Sense. It gotta have all those features or else the international presser will pickup on that discrepancies.

Now you owe Honda-san an apology tongue.gif
