*
If your brakes are squealing regularly or it feels you need to step on the brake pedal more than usual to stop the car, it might be better to change the pads.

Guys, my wife and I took a grab ride in a pre-fl GM6.
The car undercarriage hit those road humps which my own FL GM6 can easily clear (with wife and I in the car). We only had a 20kg luggage bag in the Grab City.

Do you guys face this issue with 3 ppl on board?
*
No, even with 5 ppl also no issue. Unless of course the hump is high and tyres are under-inflated.

At Honda service center, u guys stay with your car while servicing or stay at lobby until servicing done?
Can we stay with our car to watch the whole process?
*
Don't think you're allowed at the servicing area. But some SC has a window that can see through from the lobby/lounge to the servicing area.

Thanks! Most of them got bad reviews online. Rather concern about their quality. Anyone can share their experience or recommendation? I'm think the Seringgin Sri Motor at OKR
*
Did u mean Peringgit Sri Motor instead? I went there to claim insurance and do repairs before. Staff was helpful enough to explain clearly the procedures and what i needed to do. Parts order and delivery took 2 weeks though. And the repair itself took less than a week.

Cabin filter im not so worried if fake, worst case you will smell more outside aromas. Although the person i bought from confirmed its ori and I checked that it was, only that it was a local spec part for China City (they call it Fengfan).

But I will not trust on China for engine intake & engine oil filters. The consequences is too high, if they fail to perform.
*
Btw, how are the cabin filters bought from Lazada? Are u using Bosch? Thinking about buying. Everytime i’m behind a lorry or bus, quite often can smell the fumes. Annoying and also more importantly, hazardous to the occupants in my car.

for 20 segments in fuel gauge, 1st segment can last almost 100km, then the rest finish up faster whenever fuel become lesser, especially the final 2 or 3 segments which shows only left 30km range to go... Is it normal? lol
*
Normal. My old car also like that. Always takes longer for the gauge to do down from the full sign.

then my one is not using ori honda coolant when sc servicing. is that possible?  blink.gif so i not dare to add any coolant now. can i just add some normal water for it(radiator) now?
tonight i will check again the color
*
Go to the nearest Honda SC if you're free and just ask them to check it and top up a little for you.

I tried before. Went to SC in the late afternoon as i found out my coolant level was low and i needed to drive to Penang the next day. They helped me to top up a little without charge, albeit the coolant was slightly diluted (as it was leftovers of coolant that they used for the day).

Why not just stop at 80k since you gonna hit 5 years already? 60, 80, 100k services are very costly.

Hi guys, I got situation here need advice from your experience.

Was asking my SA to settle my car road tax + insurance and he already confirmed we can pay on 3 Nov. We still messaged him when we on the way to make payment on the day and he still replied us said it is ready can go cashier pay straight  or look for him also can. Unfortunately, we couldn't pay because my car plate record is not presence at the cashier there. I go look for SA he said the person in-charge missed out mine. It is ok, fine, I told him I will be back on 10 Nov to make the payment asked him make sure it is ready and don't miss again.

Today he send me a new document the total from 1.8k to 2.2k and said price increased. What say you guy on this matters?
*
What’s the reason for the price increase? Ask ur SA to pay the 400 lo 😬

If you know exactly what you are doing about roll bars and suspension tuning or know a trusted shop then go right ahead.
The greatest driving improvement any driver to their car is to actually learning to look around them  when driving and learning to use the turn signals.

First things first, did both of u make police report?

And yes, can be claimed. Forgot what’s the rate. Different insurance company might have different rates

yup, both done reporting, but only given receipt due to it was weekend.
The salinan need to take on Monday, will I be charged $$$ on the salinan as well? RM200? Can claim the guilty party's insurance on that?
While waiting for the Keputusan, can I start sending my car to Honda for them to fix?
My house no roof for parking, water keeps dripping in from the damaged  doors gap due to rain  bangwall.gif
*
I dont think can start fixing before keputusan out but u can send to the SC for them to assess what needs to be repaired/fixed (and yes, u need the salinan of the police reports to do so). And then wait for the insurance companies to do their thing also. Once the keputusan and the insurance parts are settled then u can arrange to send ur car to the SC on a the day u are convenient to do so.

Depends on the extent of the damage also. If u want to drive around with a slightly damaged car first, SC allows u to do so until the parts arrive.

Rainy season in effect. Maybe get a plastic cover to protect it first while you wait for the insurance adjuster to do their work.
Never done repairs at SC before but I hear the lead time is long.  Are you under Honda HIP coverage or others?
*
Depends on parts maybe. I was rear-ended before. After getting documents sorted out, SC informed me need 2 weeks to get the parts. Ok la for me. My car was still functioning. Lol

Malaysian internet herd mentality very stupid sometimes. Boycott also will affect other Malaysians.

Same stupid nonsense when people wanted to boycott McDonald's last time.

Anybody here has surpassed their warranty or mileage that you have started to send your City outside for servicing? If so, what engine oil is recommended? Just wondering
