Anyone know difference between VISION LP & DAMON 3?

i have enquired few places for my daughter:
she needed to have 4 tooth to be extracted.

Clinic A quoted RM 7650 - everything inclusive

Clinic B on DAMAN 3 - RM 6,000 (exclude extration, retainer... she say add all in
should be about RM 7k plus)

Clinic C - VISION LP - RM 5,800 - (extraction 80 x 4 = RM 320; others inclusive)

So, maybe will opt for the VISION LP. but anybody can help with "What's the difference"

Does anyone here know if there is any private orthodontic clinic in kajang/semenyih area? How is the price approximetely? How is the service?
If I go to public clinic, how long will I have to wait before the treatment start?

If I am not mistaken and my memory serves me right, it's rm17k in white smile. Dr Reuben offers lingual braces for free in the event you don't get your desired results from Invisalign. I think it's the only clinic that offers that...

Hi all, may I know which doctors can provide a clear advice during consultation? Any recommendation on those that can be reach using public transport in KL? icon_question.gif
As I'm stil undecided whether to put on braces or not. sweat.gif
My dentist advice me to consider about it but I think to seek advice from orthodontist first.

Last Saturday was my forth treatment with Dr Rueban since transfer. As usual, he greeted me (and almost every patient he saw) when I stepped into the clinic. It came to my turn within half an hour, which was really fast.

Dr helped to change wire for pushing out my teeth and let me chose the power string in different colors. Previously I chose BLUE but seemed weird as told by my colleagues. So this time I'd rather go for transparent, but be prepared as it might turn yellowish after some time, as told by Dr.

I can see improvement after few visits. Some ulcer here and there but already used to it after all these years. I really like the decor there, and even the napkin is in PINK, which is my favourite color.

Looking forward for my next visit.

Dear All, need some advice on invisalign matter. I went to few clinics last week to survey around and shortlisted the following 2;
1. White Smile Dental in Berjaya Times Square by Dr.Reuben. Cost is RM 17,600 with no hidden cost where all the extraction cost (if it is needed) and guarantee with lingual braces if the end result is not as expected. Downpayment is RM 9,750 and the rest with installment
2. Imperial Dental in Bangsar Telawi. Cost is around RM 16,320 but not inclusive of extraction cost (if it is needed). Downpayment is around RM 6,320 and the remaining with installment

Need your kind advise in terms of dentist's profile, cost etc.

Thank you in advance.

Never been to White Smile but I find Dr How in Bangsar not very attentive. And the waiting time is always more than an hour.

Hi all,

Is there any good orthodontist to recommend in Subang Jaya?

On side note, I'll be getting marry next year. Is it possible to remove the braces just for the pre wedding picture?

Think there is one in ss2, if you look back in this thread.

I think you need to consult the ortho to see if your case can be done within a year. Otherwise probably better to get married first then only put on braces. Or postpone your wedding... Cause you can't just take it off for a couple of days or weeks then out it back on as it will then cost you the full amount again. I think if you read back in this thread there was a member in a similar position as you back in 2011?

In response to jennie486, I go to whitesmile and I can get in and out during lunch time... So far I am relatively happy with it... Only nearing Christmas time it took abit longer as dr Reuben was running the clinic alone... Had to take one hour time off cuz I walked in after lunch at 3.30pm like a boss tongue.gif

Unless u choose invisalign which is super expensive, but it can be put on and removed at any time.
Other than that, the braces are fixed until the date which all your teeth are aligned as planned, u can't remove temporarily.

How bad do your teeth look like? Some mild cases need one year. with new technology now, Damon braces work more efficiently and lesser pain.
