Damon braces - after 6 months.
Result membuatkan aku rasa sakit tu berbaloi...

Setahun lagi, monitoring... kalau next 15 bulan gigi "rajin bergerak" ... akan dapat buka braces sebelum aidilfitri tahun depan....

how much is ur Damon braces and may i know who is your orthodontics?

5.5k for the package excluding retainer, extraction (depends number of tooth: 80/each), x-ray 99 (tung-shin) and moulding rm40
1.7k (upper) and 1.7k (lower after upper teeth moved which took me 3-4 months before installing lower)

Hi, does anybody know about Dr Chan in Klinik Ooi & Rakan in Klang Bukit Tinggi? I'm planning to have my braces there.

almost completed my braces at WhiteSmile Orthodontic Dental Braces Specialist clinic... long name!!!!! Mine was quite reasonable - got student package, my teeth are straight just in time for work!!!!!!! I thought about other dentist but I think since I only have one set of teeth (so does everyone else), better pay just a bit more and then get expert to do it. The dr there got a lot of completed cases, and he explain everything very well. Anyway, whatever u choose, research first, don't let all the clinic pressure u to pay deposit! what I like was that whitesmile consultation is free of charge!

Hello, just joining Bracesians club! Having 2 protruding front teeth (aka rabbit teeth) but the rest are okay and aligned.

Doing my traditional braces with Klinik Wong and Lee at Sungai Chua, Kajang. Initially I thought RM 5000 is for all, then only I discovered it didn't cover for the X-ray and model (RM 300 total) , 2 teeth removal (RM 100) and scaling (RM 55). Also, when the braces are removed I need to wear a pair of retainers which costs RM 200 each.

Just sharing here so that for those who want to go for braces, please ask clearly for the total fees involved.

Since my top braces and bottom braces bite to each other, the doctor had put a bite block cement on my wisdom teeth. Now I only left with a few teeth to bite. Any suggestion? Thanks!

which are your few teeth left? I left 4 wisdom teeth to bite my food only, whenever the doctor tightens the braces.
FYI, i have 32 teeth including 4 wisdom teeth, 4 pre-molars were extracted prior putting on braces, which means now i have 28 teeth only. out of 28 teeth, 24 teeth kena locked by braces, left 4 wisdom teeth to eat biscuit or slightly harder food.

i cant imagine those ppl who got their wisdom teeth extracted / wisdom teeth not grown up yet (28 teeth in total), and doctor still extracts their 4 teeth....then only left 24 teeth in the mouth. if all 24 teeth are put on braces...wah la~~ no extra teeth to bite biscuits

Which shop would be a good place to put on braces?. My teeth is not serious case and most of them are aligned except a few. I do have little bit rabbit teeth as well. Is it a must to have tooth extraction or only applicable to serious case?

Is there any good orthondist around Kajang area? I wonder if there will be student price. What type of braces should i get?. Sorry for too much question but a complete newbie here.. Wanting to have a bright smile ^^

I have 2 pre-molars extracted. Now only left with 4 wisdom teeth to bite...but after a few days now I am starting to get use with it, though I do chew at a slower speed. With braces on I am always the last to finish my meal

May i know whats the different between normal dental clinic that provide brace service and a surgery dental clinic?


has anyone try on the new dental clinic at cyberjaya for brace service. That clinic was opened last october 2013 and named "klinic pergigian Mydental ".
If no mistaken the dentis on this clinic name Dr Nurjahanna .

Any recommended around cyberjaya or putra jaya?

Is 6.5k for damon brace reasonable price ( include retainer, excluded others filling, x-ray and study model of teeth)

I guess the right question to ask is, if you want to choose a dentist who is a specialist or a general dentist? Cause general dentists can also do orthodontics... if you intend to go to a specialist then check out www.mao.org.my they have a list of specialist and their clinics there

6.5k is cheap to me... for KL price anyway.

Hi, can anyone intro me any orthodontist nearby kepong, segambut or selayang area? it doesnt matter he/she is a general dentist or specialist, i am fine with both. Thank you. I have tried with the mao.org.my but some of them was actually re-located , for Eg. Dr Wong at kepong metro prima has been switched to Kajang. Any recommendation?

Just got bonus $$$$.. and im thinking about to fix my teeth..i went to few dental clinics and i found Klinik Aina provide the cheapest braces...for conventional braces about 3.8k not include the extraction charge. And for damon type about 4.8k .. huhu.. tapi still pk2 lagi.. cause i do prefer the clear damon for upper teeth. Diorang boleh buat but the price is double coz i need to pay for 2 sets... mana nak letak ntah lagi 1 sets... so cost about 10k more or less...kalau ada orang nak share ok jugak..

Anyway... dr leen in bangi sentral in front econsave cost about 6.5k for damon braces yang biasa not the clear damon

And drsmile about 6.5k to 7k for damon braces. If i want to set the upper teeth with damon clear the price is 7.5k which is i think its too expensive.

4.8 for damon both both upper and lower is quite cheap. but what about xray, mold, and retainer?

Xray, mold included. But not the retainer.. again.. the cost is depends on different cases.

Do you know prima saujana? just after the tesco saujana impian. U will see a giant supermarket, petronas,shell.. the clinic just infront Giant Supermarket...u can google Giant saujana impian. The clinic just nearby
