Been a week im using In-Ovation C braces. So far only like 1 or 2 times I feel a bit pain/pressure on my teeth. Other than that not bad, quite comfortable.
So far never had any issue like, bleeding, ulser, and ect. Thank god.
I also eat like normal, but everytime after eat, I will brush my teeth.
Anyways, just a question, is it possible for the braces to fall off? What is the reason?
Can I drink coffee or tea? Will that do any effect on my braces?

I guess Coffee and tea are alright. Just beware of discoloring ur braces lo. However, My experience so far with coffee and tea are alright. Even with curry also wont discolor the brackets. Cos its made of ceramic. It wont discolor. But however, u can try to avoid curry or tea or coffee and other strong coloring food if u have any rubber band and powerchain on. Cos those rubbers can get discolored very easily.

And ur question abt whether will ur braces fall off easily? The braces wont fall off. Maybe, the brackets will. And that also depends on individual. It can be caused by forcing when u eat hard and chewy food. When u force ur teeth too much, the brackets may fall. Another factor would be when the glue is not doing its job. When the glue are lose, ur brackets may fall... So, dont brush ur teeth too hard, u may brush out ur brackets also... tongue.gif

I have some questions here and would appreciate it if anyone can help. xD

I'm sure this has been asked before but which produces faster result - Damon 3 system or Innovation C?

And for Innovation C, do you need to have some teeth extracted? I understand that if using the Damon 3 system, you most likely don't have to?

I think only doctor can tell u which is better. Eventho i'm a InOvation wearer, i cant judge which is better. Cos i havent use damon before. And those damon user havent use InOvation before.

Both InOvation and Damon are same just different brand. About extraction, that also let ur doctor to decide. They dont simply extract ur teeth for no reason. If ur jaw are really small, u hav no choice but to extract. Its like, how can u fit 50 pax in one car? Definately u need to shift out some. Get it?

The advertisement will obviously tells u NO NEED to extract. Just like Skin care products that promises u fine skin. And in fact, how many of these products really work what they claimed?

Conclusion is get professional help for professional products.

PS: I'm an InOvation C user. I've been on braces since 4th October. I sacrificed 4 healthy teeth for this treatment. It's been 10 months now and i love the result. It hardly give ulcer like other ppl did. InOvation C are ceramic and almost transparent. thumbup.gif

I agree with Nikki that whether to extract teeth or not, it depends on your condition. It's not dependent on the brand of the braces. I'm using Damon 3MX without any tooth extraction, because my crowded problem is not very serious. Please seek professional consultation of this.

Btw, Nikki, I finally managed to crush part of my bite stopper. I din do it in purpose la. It was an accident, yet I feel so happy and satisfied. Hope I can crush the rest of the bite stopper biggrin.gif

It's my 8th week with braces now and I have yet to notice any obvious movement for my teeth. Getting impatient...

shakehead.gif shocking.gif shakehead.gif OMG karyn... my eyes opened so wide when i read u crushed ur bite stopper... hahaha... Okla, if u didnt do it on purpose. brows.gif Dont crush everything oh... or else doctor will put new stopper on ur teeth. hehehe...

8th week means 2 months? Hmm... maybe ur crowding case not as serious as mine that why havent seen any obvious result? As for my case, i saw movement on my 8th week. Those movements are mainly my in-out and bengkang bengkok teeth... my teeth were overly messy. And by the 8th week, i see those in-out ones slowly moved in to join the rest edy. rclxm9.gif

Give it a bit more time la. Or else, just tell doctor when u see him next. Always talk to him like ur friend la... can also ask him, "Dr, how come my teeth so stubborn?" See what he say?

That day i asked doctor about my extracted lubang. Cos one of the lubang closing very slow. So Dr explains to me...but i dont quite understand also sweat.gif . But its okla, at least i highlighted the situation to him...Next visit if still not closing, i wil ask him to do something. hehehhee

That's really expensive for just getting braces done. I've finished mine with half the price. I could have finished it within 2 years but I went overseas to study so for one whole year I had to tie a rubber every night until I went back for summer holiday. I'm satisfied with mine!!
The pain was worth it. I had to have porridge for the first few days of each appointment I attend to. I didn't quite bother about decoloration. I had almost any food but I tried avoiding chewing gums and gas drinks. The acid in gas drinks might dissolve the glue.
A strong reminder to fellow bracerians is please use the small toothbrush of Oral B to clean the gap in between brackets. You don't wanna have your gums swell and look horrible after finishing your term. My teeth became yellowish after having braces but now it's whitening again. So nothing much to worry.
No pain no gain. smile.gif
