Newbie here got some question :

1. Am I able to encash my TP? Didn't see that option from the TP catalogue.

500 Treat points= RM1
At on-the-spot merchants.
Eg you spend at SenQ, Parkson etc. Of course the merchant won't give you cash, but it is a portion of payment to them

CVV stands for the Card Verification Value and is a 4-digit number printed on all American Express credit cards.
Just submit your Borang BE/B 2023 with the acknowledgement of receipt and your I/C.

I saw a 4 digit in front of the card and another 3 digit number at the back.

If the 4 digit at the front is the CVV. Then what is the 3 digit number meant to be?

So I can just ask any merchant that accept Amex to deduct my TP then pay the balance with the card?
Can I use the MC / VS to deduct the TP in case merchant did not accept Amex?

For Amex, ignore the number at the back of card. Not for us to use it.

Talk to the cashier first.
You can use any card to redeem.
Like SenQ, the cashier can find out how many points you have, you decide how much you want to redeem, then you may use any card (including cash or other Bank's CC) to pay the balance.

I'll try to find out but not gonna do that this year since mine will be expired next year.. But I already canceled my visa card, if I request for an upgrade reasonably they should only give out 1 AMEX card.

Newbie here who just got my new card days ago.
Hi just happen to see this "old" post
Does the upgrade years ago maintain only 1 Amex card replacement after expired?
Can I ask if it is still possible to cancel the Visa/Master and only keep the Amex nowadays out of luck?
Any sifu have recent successful experience?

if you're new to maybank cards now, dont bother to cancel. bank strictly not allowing this.

those older cardholders with "member since = before Sep 2018", have this little privilege to cancel the visa/mc.

Hi all,
I would like survey how many M2C / M2P holder choose to have their statement date by EOM? Since the cash back is calculated by calendar month, would it be better to have all CB eligible transaction to be in a same statement? Or do you suggest just follow as usual date (21 ~ 28). Btw, my pay day is 26.

statement date eom, but cb crediting on 1st.

by the time you get statement, you don't get the satisfaction to see the cb immediately lo

cb aside, more important is to plan payment due date on/after your payday @ 26.

so, best statement date, imo, is statement date @ 8, payment due date @ 8+20

My usual habit is to set statement date after my pay day so that I will pay it off as soon as the statement is generated.

My purpose of putting statement date at EOM is to have the whole list of CB spending into one statement instead of splitting it into two. Any advise if is worth it to do so?

Anyway, you guys still maintaining the Merchant list at Post #1 ??? As I will be start contributing those merchant very soon.

Ah yes, the photo I sent was from an online page so it was quite outdated.
The newer machines are like the one you sent.
So far have been using it for some time, even can get ShopeePay/SPayLater coupons which helps lower the bills even more.
Recently got 10% off my bill for using SPayLater, then addon another 5% from Amex card, quite a lot of savings happy.gif

Those 10% promos randomly show up near the end when you have to press confirm to pay.
You can also buy some discounts from in that SPayLater section...somwhere inside there.
On 10.10, they sold voucher RM10 off at POS Malaysia for RM0.01.
Every month they also have RM5 off voucher for RM0.01 too. Just need to find it.
