anyone tried to apply for credit limit increase for Maybank 2 Gold Amex before? Did it got approved?

reason being I'm current only holding the AMEX card (Visa card already cancelled) and I'm reluctant to upgrade to platinum since I will be getting back 2 cards again

How much of an increment u applied if u dont mind sharing?

I dont find the reason to refuse your request if all the documents submitted are relevant and enough.

I got my approval like about 2 years back. With just pay slip submitted.

Anyway, going to cancel my platinum 2 cards soon once i got another bank single cc. Holding quite some cards from diff banks now, so ya, try to reduce.

I had a wishful thinking when I had a small teeny tiny raise and I asked for an extra 3k, got 1k instead lol.

Initially I applied thru the website and within 24 hours got rejected. 2 months later I applied to upgrade to platinum at the card centre, my credit limit was increased but card application rejected.

You can try apply increase limit at the card centre?

Last year I got a call from Maybank asking if I want to increase my credit limit and upgrade to Platinum without the need of any payslip. I choose to maintain my current gold card because of the card nice number and only want to increase my credit limit. My existing credit limit is 9k and I asked for new 38k credit limit which is approved. Regretted I should have ask for a higher credit limit maybe 50k.

can always apply increase limit again every 6 months

may i know if i used amex card for RM800, then visa card for RM200. does this consider i had spent RM1000 and eligible for campaign 1 (RM50 cashback Accumulative spend more than RM1,000 and above per month)

I started using SPayLater (from Shopee) this month, and my statement came in... I see can directly use CC to pay up instead of Grab one where need reload into wallet only pay.

Anyone done the SPayLater pay with Amex on weekend gotten CB?
If it does, then this allows Amex to have CB for weekday transaction through this SPayLater.
