Got my cards a year ago with RM5k credit limit (first card it's expected 😂)
Decided to request for a credit limit through M2U on Wednesday for future installment purchase. Requested for limit to increase to RM10k (trying my luck). My application got approved for RM8k credit limit on Friday.

Ok la considering a little over double my salary

Friends and family always complain Maybank is quite stingy with credit limit cause not relative to their salary and always get rejected for increase 😅

Anybody got their side of the story?

Since ewallet no longer qualifies for cash back and points....guess Starbucks card top-up is not applicable either?? 😅

Will try in my next top-up. For now the chart categorise Starbucks top-up as F&B so it looks promising

Its 30% off if use Razer Pay to purchase the drink on Mondays only for a limited period (Max cap RM10). Seems the discount is not applicable to Starbucks card top-up.

If the AMEX 5xTP and weekend 5% is not affected, its better imo plus the Starbucks card benefits. Else, I'll just go to San Francisco for 15% discount + 5xTP + 5% rebate

Nice! Then I'll go to the Maybank credit card centre later to change it!
It's kinda annoying to use pin even on small purchases on my amex.
So is it assumed that all terminals that accept amex can use contactless?

Have called cs, yeah there is no instant replacement. Regardless over the phone or at the centre, it takes about 7 working days to process. Sigh, gotta pick a suitable time as during the processing days they'll deactivate my card...

For August, I've been using amex to for grabpay topup (GRABPAY ECOM SSL-EC) even on weekends. It seems there is still 5% rebate cause the rebate amount tally with with the weekend spending which include grabpay too

Anybody noticed that the Amex paywave is now totally unusable? Even for maybank issued card terminals, I can’t use Amex paywave.
