Tried to use Maybank Amex card to register Netflix but error showed "The Card Security Code that you entered does not appear to be valid. Please enter the 3 or 4 digit Card Security Code printed on your credit card."

Tried my wife Amex also same. Called Maybank but can't really help. Msg n chatted with Netflix, same can't really helped. Really give up. I used on 11street but no issue.

Two weeks ago, I used my MBB CC on a foreign website, but not managed to proceed.
Tried 2-3 times, then switched into paypal.
Few minutes later, CS called up and asked whether I tried to use my CC for the transaction.
They are worried of fraud and I asked him how to proceed in the future when facing such issue (without going via paypal).
He told me to call CS and they will do something (I guess temporary open the gate).

Nevertheless, I don't think these are identical cases as I believe you are going via Netflix Msia and paying in RM.
Also Netflix is very common nowadays, bank should not have blocked the transaction.

Called Maybank CC Center for 3rd time. The officer checked thru whole system no blocking or whichever. Therefore, no point to use Amex at the moment since Netflix may have problem to register the Amex.

This sort of issues is why I stopped using MBB cards for online transactions on international sites like Amazon etc.
Life is easier if I just use other banks' cards.

My CIMB, Amex and UOB all declined  tongue.gif

But if I do switch to US via Vpn, the same credit card goes through for Netflix.
Weird indeed.

Call to cancel the Visa/MC of M2Cards, save 1xRM 25 SST.
Tell CS, reason: SST.

If already have Maybank CC then can't get this juicer anymore.

Actually the normal and Platinum American Express is same right? No different right?
*
#define normal ?

https://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...sonal/CRD-Cards is different loh.

If Gold vs Platinum, platinum has travel insurance.

Sorry, i meant Maybankard Amex Gold got different with Platinum?

Is travel insurance really important? Other than travel insurance seems like nothing different.
*
Travel insurance is not important for me because it is not comprehensive and I always purchase my own insurance.
The shared hotline Plat/VS is a great addition to Plat card, can bypass all the selections and reach CS directly.

Call line is different. You will have dedicated call line to customer service if you are using platinum or VS as bith of then share the same line. Much convenient and fast compare to gold call line.

Dont treat like the travel insurance is important or not ( it is important though, but not this complementary type), treat this travel insurance free from platinum card as bonus.

Other thing might be credit limit? Much higher credit limit.

there's a reason why overseas to call the +603 fixed dialing, right? laugh.gif

1800/1300 routing is for local only, definitely not accessible/no connectivity to outside.

Yes, that's the purpose while people call +603 even in Malaysia. biggrin.gif
I think 1800 is free but not 1300, I could be wrong. Regardless, if unlimited calls, use +603.
