QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 18 2018, 11:36 AM) Yes, that's the purpose while people call +603 even in Malaysia. I think 1800 is free but not 1300, I could be wrong. Regardless, if unlimited calls, use +603. i am not so sure but i did see charges for either 1800/1300 before. so i just call +603

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Oct 18 2018, 11:53 AM) 1800 - It is free now (since a few years ago) from all my mobile lines. maybe you are using a special mobile plan. oh no lah. I think the last time I call 1800 from mobile was more than a few years ago. After getting billed, I don't use 1800 anymore. But good to know finally it's free. Now don't know those 15454 free or not. Hehe. QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Oct 18 2018, 11:50 AM) will kena sst again if upgrade? I've read somewhere (I think Citibank's) saying upgrade is free. But again, maybe it depends on the bank. So you'll have to ask to be sure. Best get some response in black and white, easier to dispute later. iirc, mcmc requested telcos not to charge for 1300/1800 to customers years ago. but inter-connect fee still applies between operators, whereby terminating operator (receiving) gotta pay the originating operator (initiating) i.e telcos making money for receiving these calls QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Oct 18 2018, 11:50 AM) will kena sst again if upgrade? no idea. you can try asking their CS. QUOTE(burgerRamli @ Oct 18 2018, 11:36 AM) Thank you so much for the clarification. I had actually decided to cancel off my gold visa. Now thinking about wanna upgrade my Amex to platinum or not. Platinum is always good la compare to gold. I just upgraded mine early of september, not aiming for the travel insurance of course, but the credit limit, and sometimes need to get to the CS with much much faster time.

QUOTE(burgerRamli @ Oct 18 2018, 02:35 PM) because now I only have AMEX left , so if wanna upgrade means have to cancel this Amex and reapply again right? Hence, the point and outstanding transferring may be a little tricky No need la. Just upgrade and everything can be transferred to new card.

QUOTE(burgerRamli @ Oct 18 2018, 02:52 PM) Ehh means just call them and inform that wanna upgrade then they will issue a new card to me? I thought need to submit the payslip etc etc? Yes, still need to submit but if you go to card centre, just print latest EPF statement there. No need to cancel current one now, go and upgrade, activate and terminate old card.
