is it normal that after my M2C Gold Amex is upgraded to Platinum, I got charged RM25 SST for it, even though the card anniversary is March.

I thought this is considered a card upgrade, and not a new application hence there should not be SST?

So will I be charged again in March 2019, or March 2020?

my new card anniversary is still March, follow as per the old AMEX

i have called maybank, they said it will be charged on the month I received the card, and another time on the anniversary month

I also asked him an assumption question, if I had upgraded my gold to platinum on next Feb before march anniversary, they said I will still be charged RM25 on both Feb and March!!

I received the new M2C Amex on 12th Oct, however it's not contactless. When is it actually rolled out?

Hi guys, I plan to make a payment of RM8000 at a store which accepts Maybank Amex and 12m 0% instalment. Can I swipe on weekdays to get 5x TP worth RM80 and is there any way to convert to 12m 0% ezypay after that?

I think if I proceed for 12m directly in the shop I will only get 1x TP.

Is the call center operating during MCO after 8pm? I called them using the Signature hotline, but got automated response saying "All our customer service is currently busy, please hold" for 5 minutes
