hey sifus,
currently i'm on UniFi Advance 30Mbps - Bonanza Campaign + STD 20 (RM 159) still on contract, and i received turbo-ed email from TM. Is it worth to downgrade to the latest Price tag for unifi pro plan 100mbps (RM 129) or just wait for turbo upgrade which is waiting like tunggul durian runtuh..... i need the STD20 for my mum, so this is only RM30 different between these two package . any advise ? |

QUOTE(KaizokuLuffy @ Sep 7 2018, 08:52 AM) hey sifus, Can't really answer u now because you are still under contract and your plan has stb hypptv. I am on the same plan and contract too but without std20. Asked yesterday and they don't have any info whether I can return the stb to them and take 129. Unless you take stb also for 159 100mbps. So u pay the same but 100mbps. If it's enough and don't wanna wait for the uncertain 300 turbo upgrade.. can go change it. But wait few more days as TM will be announcing something for existing customer soon.currently i'm on UniFi Advance 30Mbps - Bonanza Campaign + STD 20 (RM 159) still on contract, and i received turbo-ed email from TM. QUOTE(ycs @ Sep 6 2018, 11:20 PM) Those who are offered to keep copper line for RM1 is because that time you cannot migrate old phone number to UniFi. Now that they allow you to migrate old number to UniFi, you will be charge standard RM25 rental rate if you so decided to still keep the copper line.QUOTE(jason18689 @ Sep 6 2018, 11:37 PM) Ahhh young man. Yes. Upgrade will maintain your existing line. Make sure you mention to them that you want to migrate existing line to UniFi, so they won't terminate your line thinking you made a new application. So in a nutshell, upgrade will enable me to retain the existing number, and pay RM129++ monthly for 100Mbps Unifi Pro? But damn...I'd made a new application almost 2 hours ago! Thus its not an upgrade. Well, tomorrow I will head to any TM branch and if I could tell them that i am upgrading and not new application. QUOTE(MGM @ Sep 6 2018, 04:58 PM) nope...i checked one of the useless hypptv has to be bundled with your account...you can only remove either Ruby or whatever, or remove Ultimate and keep Ruby or whatever... QUOTE(OKLY @ Sep 6 2018, 05:21 PM) Sharing my story that happened last month. i have explained to TM that nobody would disclose their account numbers due to privacy issue but they still insist on the account number...so its a dead endLive chat told me the same but then another department handles the modification of an account. My report was pending for a few weeks until one day they removed the Ruby Plus pack but I did not get a reduction of RM30 as they adjusted the discount amount. So I’m still paying the same monthly fees. Questioned them why it wasn’t as per what I was told by live chat, they answered me that my package supposed to be RM189 per month so there will be no reduction in my monthly fee, they only remove the redundant Ruby Plus pack from my account and adjust the discount amount. Not satisfied I filed a complaint on MCMC, conclusion in the end was TM replying back saying RM189 for 100mbps is the lowest that they can offer. MCMC also could not do anything unless proven otherwise with an account number that is paying below RM189 for 100mbps and Ultimate pack which I believe nobody would want to disclose their account number.
