I think that there is an upgrade pattern, don’t think it is area based. Probably userID in alphabetical order or some sort, IDK. Perhaps someone from the inside could enlighten us.

Usually TM has your router and btu information in their system and when it’s blank (like my case) it’s dangerous as they won’t be able to cater for turbo as they will not want to gamble. I contacted TM to ask them to check In their system on my router details and true enough they didn’t have them. I then told them that I’m using my own router and please update my router information in the system and within 48hours I got a call back
From them acknowledging my information on has been updated and they will inform turbo team to expedite my speed as I don’t need to depend on their hardware.
*
To my surprise they really have our hardware details in their system. I contacted them earlier and the CS listed the BTU and Router (supplied by TM during the TYS2017 upgrade) but i didn't use their router.
They don't have any exact schedule when you will get your free upgrade, it all depends on the turbo team. He did say that if you've received the turbo email from TM earlier means you are under P1 and be getting the upgrade before end of 2018, else you'll be under P2 from 2019 onwards.

Anyone using this router? Can provide any feedback?

I have a Tenda AC18, for the price it does a pretty decent job. Able to get good 5Ghz signals throughout a 2-storey house with no dropouts whatsoever.

TM better have a back up plan because many of us are paying way more for the plans than expected. I foresee they are going to be bombarded with calls and emails.

Don't hope so much. Your account usually goes blank/missing when TM updates their system.

Well i think it is intended to stay there for now since it was a early mistake by the dev. Wake up in the morning and you should see the full plans displayed.

I'm surprised at why they don't stage it first before putting it up.

Very unlikely if under contract because that is the argument TM will use against us.
However, if they are doing something for existing users then OK.

Nevertheless, my 800Mbps still nowhere to be seen, I don't even know this day will come because our area is a newly covered by UniFi. TM struggled to upgrade my speed to 100Mbps from 50Mbps earlier, I really doubt 800Mbps can come soon.

I don't want to keep paying extra for something which is uncertain.
*
Let's see what Maxis does in the coming months. It's said that they will introduce higher speed plans after launching their 100Mbps. If they really manage to introduce these speed plans then TM will face further butthurt because a lot of us still are paying premium but not getting our supposed speed upgrades.

I just spoke with CS and if you're coming from the UniFi Advance plans previously means we can't remove Ruby/Vatnam/Aneka/Ultimate.

I will say stay calm guys, just give them another week to see what it has for existing users.
*
Alright i finally found out that my contract had ended a while back and since I am no longer contracted to them, I inquired about the new RM129 and to my surprise they said it is only for new subs. And for those who think RM129 may get Turbo'ed, you won't because this is a Turbo'ed from the old 10Mbps plan.

See attached chat log.

For new customers only? so current user cannot downgrade to RM129 plan??  to subscribe, we need to terminate our service and sign up again???
*
Yes that seems so at present time for both contracted or non-contracted subscribers. We aren’t allowed to enjoy this price.

If you think 100Mbps is sufficient enough for the household and want to enjoy the service at RM129, you’ll have to terminate and reapply as a new subscriber.

I just went to TMpoint this morning and asked them on the new unifi lite/pro plan for RM129/mth. For existing users who want to upgrade is no charge but on unifi lite 10Mbps they told me to wait for speed upgrade. They say may arrive around October as they say piloting phase will end this month. Not so sure but I guess I could wait.

For new subscribers who want to get turbo speed upgrade, starting today no more speed upgrade for those who apply 10, 30, 50(depends on HQ) and 100mbps. The 100Mbps RM129/mth is fixed after contract ends. That's all I got from TMpoint this morning.

I think TM failed badly with their internal memo. Every party seem to be giving different story.

One side say can and another say can’t.

Only difference is at rm159 u get Ultimate n STB. Quite good if u can replace Astro with Ultimate.

RM159 is with Ruby because that’s what my plan is currently subscribed to. For ultimate you’ll need to fill out additional RM30 which brings it to RM189.
