I dun think so. TM being the big Brother and it took so so to build the infra again the infra penetration is still not very high which many many people are still using streamyx. Even there is new player, they are likely to build infra at the places that already have unifi coverage to fight for business instead of covering non-unifi area. last time there was one new player namely ABN access or something? (cannot even remember the name u can tell how unpopular it is). they build new infra at my parent's house which already has unifi. But again I dun even see them asvertising the package already vanish into the thin air.

Even new player start building infra, it is way too late and too challenging.

I haven't yet visit tm point. Maybe I should try doing that first.

Not true. There are qos standards imposed my mcmc that tm have to adhere to, which is 30% reserve capacity minimum per OLT. Service only degrades for copper, not fibre..

So that means they cannot oversell their network?

Actually Use CPE for some small far taman is good idea,but still need alot consideration.
Because CPE need setup higher place for preventing signal blocking..

I thought lamppost power supply very strong,might damage the CPE with high voltage?
And seriously many lamppost in malaysia sometime will broken for few weeks to months...

About the stb for rm129,still can use your own stb please ask tm first,because stb are link at your old unifi account,new bcz stb also got mac address,last time i see tm change my stb thebtecnical still need call bck Tm side to unlock the mac address or something,maybe is open new port4 for iptv use only
