QUOTE(nuel92 @ Aug 18 2018, 04:32 PM) Can you access any fox sport channel? Also you can check at unifi web site.. Should display you package. TM will not scam you.. Most probably incompetent staff that wrongly configure your package. This post has been edited by aneip: Aug 18 2018, 06:37 PM |

Got slap by RM200 downgrade fee, after downgrade to 30Mbps from 50.. Even after multiple confirmation current contract is over.. Complain to TM now, hope no issue for reversal.

QUOTE Below is a breakdown of actual real-life average speeds you can expect from wireless routers within a reasonable distance, with low interference and small number of simultaneous clients: https://www.speedguide.net/faq/what-is-the-...of-wireless-374802.11b - 2-3 Mbps downstream, up to 5-6 Mbps with some vendor-specific extensions. 802.11g - ~20 Mbps downstream 802.11n - 40-50 Mbps typical, varying greatly depending on configuration, whether it is mixed or N-only network, the number of bonded channels, etc. Specifying a channel, and using 40MHz channels can help achieve 70-80Mbps with some newer routers. Up to 100 Mbps achievable with more expensive commercial equipment with 8x8 arrays, gigabit ports, etc. 802.11ac - 70-100+ Mbps typical, higher speeds (200+ Mbps) possible over short distances without many obstacles, with newer generation 802.11ac routers, and client adapters capable of multiple streams. Got many comment. |

QUOTE(cannavaro @ Sep 7 2018, 07:33 PM) One of my 3 accounts finally got the turbo upgrade. I test before, you always get the lowest speed. But I try different location. Like there 2 capping, 1 at BTU 1 at Username.Unfortunately.. it is not my main account ![]() Still using Huawei HG850a somemore (4 fast ethernet network ports) But, it is exactly as the rhombuscake (managed to check before tm sorta killed off its functionality since it's a 3rd party site) website said.. this particular account will be upgraded first. Probably gonna login with that account here and see if I can get the turbo speed since the address is still at the same building. I recall doing something similar last time at another address where the house had 2 unifi accounts, one is VIP20 one is VIP5. I logged in to the VIP5 router using the VIP20 credentials (which was connected to the VIP5 btu of course) and got 20Mbps on speedtest. |

QUOTE(miloaisdino @ Sep 8 2018, 01:11 AM) Yes. Because if that works, it means can sign up let say unifi + maxis on same address. One of the subscription is yrs, the other is yr friends. So normally can use more than one port on btu to dial maxis and tm pppoe seperately. So i was thinking if another btu can be used, instead of running cat 6 from house to house, can run a fibre with yr own splitter and additional btu.. this is useful esp in 'no more port available' situations.. I don't think TM will allow you to use your own splitter. I wish they provide SFP GPON 1st. |

QUOTE(set @ Sep 8 2018, 02:13 PM) Went to tmpoint, the girl told me my current 50mb plan cannot change to the rm129 100mbps package, that one only for new customer, she say i can take the rm300 100mbps plan I just change at TMpoint cyberjaya on 6th Sept.. No question ask, the give customer retention form fill. They tick 100mbps and put RM129. But still not process yet. Will wait till next week see how. For me, better get 100mbps now.. Since my 30 also no noticeable slow unless I download some big file.. That's only few times a month. I believe next year they will come out with promo for people to upgrade to next speed. Maybe something like add rm10 to next speed. What the fuck do i do now |

QUOTE(RokXIII @ Sep 11 2018, 08:56 PM) seems there is a bit confusion here: I use I-240G-P.. Its gigabit.. on 300mbps now.at Post # 1, the Alcatel Lucent I240G should referring to this: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « and this model supporting gigabits speed. whereby, some of us have the much older model of Alcatel Lucent I-240G-P, which is this: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « this model probably not supporting gigabits speed. i tried to connect this BTU to my PC, the speed shows only 100Mbps, instead of 1Gbps. hopefully someone could clarify and confirm. |
