just chat with customer service, apparently RM139 is for new customer, when i ask if i can terminate mine and reapply as new customer, they say once terminate port is given to new customer and i will need to wait again for new port. WTF

Do they request for anything? Or you just walk in & request for a downgrade?

802.11b - 2-3 Mbps downstream, up to 5-6 Mbps with some vendor-specific extensions.
802.11g - ~20 Mbps downstream
802.11n - 40-50 Mbps typical, varying greatly depending on configuration, whether it is mixed or N-only network, the number of bonded channels, etc. Specifying a channel, and using 40MHz channels can help achieve 70-80Mbps with some newer routers. Up to 100 Mbps achievable with more expensive commercial equipment with 8x8 arrays, gigabit ports, etc.
802.11ac - 70-100+ Mbps typical, higher speeds (200+ Mbps) possible over short distances without many obstacles, with newer generation 802.11ac routers, and client adapters capable of multiple streams.

recently bought tplink T9UH adapter....

using iperf, maximum throughput achieve is around 600mbps..

first only 200-300mbps then change the  channel, to 157, get max 600mbps... it seem the channel also play some factor for the speed....

need to saving for upgrade router...4x4 mimo router...

still waiting the upgrade...

Probably gonna login with that account here and see if I can get the turbo speed since the address is still at the same building. I recall doing something similar last time at another address where the house had 2 unifi accounts, one is VIP20 one is VIP5. I logged in to the VIP5 router using the VIP20 credentials (which was connected to the VIP5 btu of course) and got 20Mbps on speedtest.

Yes. Because if that works, it means can sign up let say unifi + maxis on same address. One of the subscription is yrs, the other is yr friends. So normally can use more than one port on btu to dial maxis and tm pppoe seperately. So i was thinking if another btu can be used, instead of running cat 6 from house to house, can run a fibre with yr own splitter and additional btu.. this is useful esp in 'no more port available' situations..

Went to tmpoint, the girl told me my current 50mb plan cannot change to the rm129 100mbps package, that one only for new customer, she say i can take the rm300 100mbps plan

this model probably not supporting gigabits speed.
i tried to connect this BTU to my PC, the speed shows only 100Mbps, instead of 1Gbps.

hopefully someone could clarify and confirm.
