QUOTE(go626201 @ Sep 7 2018, 12:35 AM) I thought lamppost power supply very strong, might damage the CPE with high voltage? And seriously many lamppost in malaysia sometime will broken for few weeks to months... If like this no network works..haha Then maybe use own power supply, but just borrow the pole. These kind of wireless bridges also not uncommon to lamp post contractor, they r mostly used for local govt cctv and such. So they most likely wont remove

QUOTE(miloaisdino @ Sep 7 2018, 12:20 AM) Lamp post to lamp post. Do like along the road. Hopefully local council dont notice Or use tm telephone pole (hopefully wont notice either) Edit: i think lamppost is safer... Well some people in the uk have even suggested running ethernet over powerline over the lamppost power supply. Wow Are you seriously suggesting power theft?

BTU is huawei HG8240 and tp-link ac1000. any more settings to check Does ur network properties on ur laptop/pc show a gigabit negotiated connection to the router? I hv a Asus AC68U router and a 100Mbps line. Initially I used to get 94-95Mbps during speedtest and took as as a TM issue as everyone said that it was normal speeds for 100Mbps. At some point I realized that my laptop did not show a negotiated gigabit connection even though all my cables were labelled cat5e. Changing 2 cables, one between the BTU to the router and one from router to laptop allowed gigabit negotiation. Speeds jumped to 104-105Mbps. It's pretty repeatable if I change the cable back to the one that does not seem to be up to the cat5e mark.

Hi there. Quick question about the current unifi plan. will they be adding more plan, like 30mbps without any quota? cause not many area support 100mbps.
