I am in high rise with copper.

Wish to get the new Unifi advance plan with 30Mbps.

So obviously we are not able to upgrade to 300Mbps as promised.

So will our bill of rm139 be reduced to half at the very least, since our speed is 10 times lower?

Im on Unifi 100 MBPS + Ultimate Package + Varnam + Free calls paying RM189 initially. However, I was only charged RM181 instead of RM189 last month.

Last Month, I manage to remove Varnam pack as Ultimate pack has all the channels already with no penalty. My new charges was suppose to be RM159 but I was charged RM136.31 instead.

800Mbps is not going to be possible, even with supported devices, with your current router. Go to the first page and see list of supported router or click on my signature. You need a device that can support the 800Mbps too.

Ethernet yes, but WiFi no as the real world throughput of 867Mbps ac WiFi is around 200-300Mbps

You'll probably need 802.11ax/ad for that, but the range is so weak that you'll need something like a mesh setup.  It might be much better to run CAT6 cables to your equipment

Read the first post and see the values indicated there, which is beside the list of routers. The AC1200 can theoretically support 800Mbps, with the 5GHz supporting up to 867Mbps, BUT that is not the value you will get in real-life, and the AC1200 is only 2x2.

By the time the wireless signal arrives at your phone, it will be significantly degraded with overheads, wifi protocol, etc. and you won't get the best optimum speed. To have a chance of reaching the best speed possible, which might or might not be 800Mbps, you need a router that can support a much higher number of streams on MIMO, 3x3 or 4x4, and a device that can support 3x3 or 4x4.

If it is on wired connection directly to the router / LAN, it can support up to 1000Mbps, or 1Gbps, as it have gigabit ports. However, on wireless, it is not possible. See above to reply for another person for explanation.

Got upgrade to 800Mbps. Am using RT-AC68u currently. not going to 800Mbps and maxed around 500Mbps only. Must be something wrong somewhere. Will do some testing later on.

Yep, but as the other poster said, you need a device that can support 4x4 MIMO. The next best thing besides the Asus PCE-88, is the TP-Link T9UH, which is only 3x3 MIMO.

If really RM99 for 100Mbps, can seriously consider dumping RM189 800Mbps for the savings.

but seeing the NEW price  structure of ONLY of ringgit 129 for 100Mbps...

I will be monitoring my usage on  turboed speed .. for the next 3 months ..

by then ...I could have better cancel this turboed package  which i am paying 209 ringgit currently  and go for the new plan ringgit 129 ..that will save me lapan puloh  ringgit every months ...

Currently paying 199 for 100mbps can request to this turbo 100mbps 129?

Yes! This is annoying to pay additional RM 60 and until now still not turbo-ed yet.
Unfortunately I'm currently tied to contract, so not so easy to negotiate with TM but I will still try.
