Yup, in the next section, it will show that there will be a deduction of RM30 every month.Weather this will continue for how long, I cant confidently tell that.

QUOTE(lamusiqa @ Sep 6 2018, 05:20 PM) Im wondering if current 100mbps pro plan users such as myself who is no longer under contract could get our monthly prices reduced to RM129 until the turbo upgrade happens.. No way. you either stay and get turbo or reduce the price but no future turbo.Pretty unfair for us to pay old price when we're no longer tied to the contract, no? QUOTE(miloaisdino @ Sep 6 2018, 05:54 PM) Thats an illusion. For streamyx tm alr ROI, also if u look at the old MSAP for local loop unbundling (which umno didnt enforce) its way lower than rm45/port. So theres no reason to keep the price liddat Well that is what it is, to slowly upgrade copper to fiber. Listen to this, skip and listen to the end part around 30 minute. Imo if nothing is done about streamyx users it isnt called a national connectivity plan, its a fiberisation plan. If 100mbps is enough, go for it. Save RM50 per monthCan I just go ask them to change my plan to this new RM129 plan? Considering this is an upgrade for me with cheaper price! Meanwhile I am eligible for the turbo upgrade. Should I wait for the turbo speed, or should I just give up and go for the Rm129 package? Dilemma here....anyone is in the same boat with me? LOL.... |

QUOTE(jason18689 @ Sep 6 2018, 08:26 PM) I see. Good to know that. You should do an upgrade from Streamyx to Unifi. Not terminate Streamyx yourself then apply Unifi. Your Streamyx phone number will be migrated to Unifi. Maintain the same number only, no extra Unifi number. Anyway, required to terminate my streamyx before register for unifi pro? In between, necessary to wait 30 days to avoid some kind of penalty? So troublesome if the wait is needed! When they install Unifi and activate it, the Streamyx account will be terminated at that time. All done automatically by them. Best is to call 100 and ask again, or apply through agent. |

QUOTE(stasio @ Sep 6 2018, 08:58 PM) i know its max will 50mbps. i think better pay rm129 for 100mbps eventhou you only get 50mbps rite? my friend pay rm129 for the 10mbps lite package, and the technician said his building max only 30mbps. but now only have package 30mbps with quota and unlimited 100mbps. i rather go 100mbps and get 30mbps only for rm129. 10mbps pretty slow when you have 3 ppl using it |

QUOTE(wshoh @ Sep 6 2018, 09:06 PM) Switching to Maxis at RM89 + paying RM25 to TM to retain phone will cost RM114 monthly, which is just RM15 savings but throws away the TV pack and gets me into a fresh 24 months contract. If you really need the TV pack, it is worth to stay. Otherwise not bad even considerring Maxis speed for 30mbps is symmetrical. You can still use the STB as an android box though, but that is to be discuss in other topic which you can find in this forum.QUOTE(jason18689 @ Sep 6 2018, 09:10 PM) Hi guys. Yes you can retain old number, I have done that. Go to tmpoint to apply upgrade your Streamyx to UniFi. If you straight away apply new Unifi and terminate Streamyx, it means you are cancelling your old number. Last week I went to make a complaint at MCMC and finally today I was given a call that I can proceed to apply for fibre. (Previously was my house area dont have enough ports). One question, not possible to retain my current home number +603xxxxxxxx)? During registeration, seems like I have to select a new phone number, and cant see any option to select retain existing? Anyone of you able to retain it? TQ. You can choose to migrate old number to UniFi, or keep the old number for RM25 a month. It is not free for keeping old number and get another new number, because now you can migrate the old number to UniFI. QUOTE(jason18689 @ Sep 6 2018, 09:26 PM) I see. Good to know that. Just apply for upgrade Streamyx to UniFi Pro. TM will install your UniFi and terminate Streamyx automatically once UniFi is installed, usually the same day.Anyway, required to terminate my streamyx before register for unifi pro? In between, necessary to wait 30 days to avoid some kind of penalty? So troublesome if the wait is needed! |

QUOTE(hebe87 @ Sep 6 2018, 09:41 PM) i swapped to unifi 5 years ago. back then, no need to terminate streamyx. Now the procedure is different bro. You can apply to upgrade streamyx to unifi, and upon unifi installation streamyx is automatically terminated. With this you got to migrate your phone number to unifi without need to get a new number.this is because unifi comes with new fiber wiring to your house(assume that you are staying in landed house), while you can retain your old copper wiring my opinion is, only terminate streamyx and your unifi installation is done so that no interruption to your internet usage after you get your unifi installed and terminate your streamyx, you will still receive 2 bills every month 1 bill for copper line - the sewa bulanan will be RM0 1 bill for unifi |

Pity existing Streamyx (out of unifi coverage ) and unifi user (under contract and not entitle turbo upgrade ) no discount or maybe offer unifi tv with ultimate package.
