QUOTE(kelvin_516 @ Aug 22 2018, 01:10 AM) feel cheated by tm as old customer paying higher price and still not yet turbo-ed. Asked tm about that and mention wan to switch to maxis they responded it up to you. Is there any way to take any action against them?? Take action - please do switch to Maxis, so that we free up the resources of the upgrade team for the rest of us who are patiently waiting. |

QUOTE(Hummingbird @ Aug 22 2018, 12:02 PM) It does not seem to be consistent. Because copper wire has a lot of uncertainty on speed capability? Why TM does not upgrade streamyx users first because they are paying a lot more than the unifi users? Or simply because their focus/target is for Unifi push (strategy), thus no choice but Unifi first. |

QUOTE(yvliew @ Aug 22 2018, 01:25 PM) Does feel a bit unfair that TM is taking their sweet time with vague time frame and quite a long one to upgrade their customer while Maxis has taken a straight forward move to lower the price with the plan effective in Sept. Including existing customer with and without contract. https://aduan.skmm.gov.my/Those who are paying 139 above for 30mbps might actually had to wait 6-9 months before getting their deserved speed. So you are paying more 50 above for more than 6 months. Doesn't sounds fair to me. Seeing how other provider have done, TM hasn't been sincere to serve their customer with the best service/offer. While following MCMC directive, they are just holding down their speed to milk off their customer as long as possible. |

QUOTE(lelynx @ Aug 23 2018, 12:14 PM) okie, I've retested 800Mbps package again someone here stated that the new speed (i forgot whether it's 300Mbps or 500Mbps) was no different 1) 200++ Mbps DL and 100 Mbps UL on 5.0Ghz wifi (I hope TM will fully release the speed soon after the pilot testing) 2) 100 Mbps DL and 100 Mbps UL on 2.4Ghz wifi 3) 500++ Mbps DL and 100 Mbps UL on LAN than previous 30/50Mbps since the dload time feels the same. what about you - any downloading experience that you can compare before & post-upgrade (although seems not 100% to 800Mbps yet) ? |

QUOTE(iqmal123456 @ Aug 23 2018, 12:35 PM) Lol no different ? 500mbps only took half an hour to download 100GB file while 50mbps took 4 and a half hour.. itulah pasal.. i mean, probably case-to-case basisbut is your experience legit or assumption (i.e. did you get the upgrade already and is your 100GB dload an actual experience?) i myself felt a huge impact uploading stuff since 512kbps UL via Streamyx vs. 5Mbps UL now with UnifiLite, so i find it hard to understand why some people are saying that they didn't feel the upgrade speed. 10x wor.. which is hard to comprehend. |

QUOTE(Sumofwhich @ Aug 24 2018, 05:13 PM) Anyone thinks it is wise to go from RM139 (300Mbps to be upgraded soon) to RM89 Maxis (30Mbps) and paying RM500 penalty fee? Sigh should have been more patient and wait! it's wiser for you to pay RM500 fee and jump to maxis.1. less one more TM customer for turbo roll-out. 2. shift of network traffic from TM to Maxis. good news for us. |

QUOTE(xperiaVuser @ Aug 24 2018, 05:16 PM) my installation no more having this..![]() they just pull the black fiber optic cable from tiang into my house, leave xx meter on the ceiling & straight to GPON terminal. kinda ugly-looking since it's black against white walls, but another problem to settle another day.
