Hi guys,

Currently I'm driving 1st gen Persona
My current XM2 is dying soon. I'm looking for replacement. I'm quite an aggressive cornering/fast driver. I'm looking for something better like ps3 but this tyre doesn't have my size. Any other recommendation?

Saw that day Assurance Triplemax 2 launched. Might want to give it a try? Don't know on the performance part though.

What size do you use, I have tried Potenza Re002, Re003 and now using Conti MC6. All of these tyres have good grip for cornering, IMHO just the Potenza is noisy.

Agree with Voscar. But if you're not used to open up door panel and fix it, you can bring your car to your trusted mudguard shop and ask them check for you. Huge leak like yours should be easy to catch.
*
thanks vos and inferno.

got it fix.

yup, its the plastic sheet behind the door panel.

they just sealed back the plastic sheet. no changing any parts.

but i'm quite surprise that all 4 plastic sheet giving problems at the same time.

persona case usually because of the water door sheet problem. (logic 4 side all wet carpet case)

btw, my proton saga water leaking case is because of clogged cowl drain.

or could be air vent problem, aircond leaking problem etc. (logic if leak at front passenger side)
*
yup door sheet problem same as your link.
mechanic also check to see if aircon is leaking.

I am finding that my aircond under the dash started to leak, is it easy to check the drain, I mean how hard to open and get to see the drain?

Not hard but need to Jack up the car to see if the drain pipe blocked or not.

What is the suitable grade oil for persona ? current mileage is 60k , using 10w40 semi synthetic now ... Plan to change to fully synthetic , is it worth ? Since i travel highways alot , is it better to use 10w40 although it's semi synthetic ? Since the car will be used to travel long distance most of the time, will 5w40 and 10w40 offer the same level of protection when the engine is hot ?

Ya the car manual recommends 10W40. Depends on your pocket, if u can afford fully synthetic why not? Im using tesco fully synthetic 5W40, RM80-90 during offer. I think both of them can protect your engine when its hot, just that for fully synthetic, the chemicals inside can last longer compared to fully mineral or semi synthetic.
