Wouldn't recommend Schmaco brand. I used it previously, within 2-3 mths kong liao become weak. Would recommend going for Mitsubishi OEM ones. Harder and more reliable. Per set around 180-210 for auto persona excluding installation.

Include installation around how much? Is it better than proton Ori parts?

installation around 150-180 i think.. cant recall, change damn long ago. I would say the same as proton ori or slightly more harder. harder means slightly more vibration but lesser torque loss.

Engine mounting kong will causing torque loss? Mine I think also gone, now mileage 88k only but already vibration on idle. I tried to maintain clean throttle body and good spark plug condition to make my engine healthy (less vibrating) to extend the need for replace engine mounting...

guys,

my 9 yrs old persona when driving above 40km/h will have some vibrations on my steering especially when reeving hard, send in for checking and sc says is the drive shaft problem although there is no kluk kluk sound when turning left or right. Proton ori drive shaft cost about RM1000/pair while oem is only about rm400-500/pair. Oem is less than half, need advise if it is really worth it to go for ori?

Have you check for wheel balancing? Might be that simple.

Hi arrsoo, mostly your issue is drive shaft bar have minor dent that why vibrations in low speed. Normally when turning have kluk kluk sound that is drive shaft head internal wear and tear. As my advise you can consider aftermarket brand like GSP brand because half price compare ori.
Proton Ori drive shaft from GKN maker of course life span and quality better... sweat.gif

My 9 years Persona come back the 'tuk tuk' sound when turning the steering. I remember this is common issue during that time, and i have change the Power steering pipe & Orifice Valve that time.

Any idea how to solve this irritating sound?

Guys i have read up on somewhere that having LSD can provide the ride EBD like safety features in car that don't have EBD built in.

Any idea of limited slip differential that is available for our model?
