I think this thread will be a lot better if we stick to discussing about BP & this includes ranting about its incompetency since it brings awareness to the rest of us that things might not be working properly at that particular period of time.

Complaining about how other forum members shouldn't be so negative or pessimistic doesn't help since it only serves to antagonize them further. It's akin to the infamous "you tak suka you keluar" & let's face it, no one likes it one bit.

At the same time, let's remember that this thread isn't a BP technical support so going into detail on how BP should do to rectify their issue doesn't help much either.

Wah, I see dupe account backing up each other. You know who you are and don't make me reveal it and embarrass you, so stop doing it.

I think we need to move on and I guess Johnathan is now well aware of BP situation now? Until it improves further, I may stop using this card for online transactions. Actually you need to use the correct avenue to complain and one rep here can't make wonders.

Weird, if we're not going or not allowed to discuss about BP inferiority or incompetency in this thread.
What you guys want to discuss in this thread?
BP doesn't have hype activity/event like Boost has.

Just stick to the usual playbook:
1. Share BP top up with PBB card for the Spend for More Cash Back early of every participatin week
2. Compare forex rate

I found that imposing such ground rules bear no constructive discussion at all!

That baffles me as well. It's one thing if you want to promote BP's strengths & advantages but to attack those who exposes their incompetency, I don't see the point of doing that unless you're directly affiliated with AA or BP. rclxub.gif

Let's just call a spade a spade.

Actually we are OK for you all to complain about BP, even I voiced out too. However, if it's getting out of hands then we will need to step in to calm the situation. I really don't want to see reports on this thread every single day.

Just tried paypass on my bigpay card today. Worked flawlessly, it’s just that the response on the credit card terminal was a bit slow, not sure if it’s the credit card terminal or bigpay being slow

So jealous! Wanna try it out too but I guess it'll take a long while til BP sends a new card to those existing users.
I hate it when I go to SG and the merchants there only know how to use Tap, dono how to swipe/pin it even though I know the terminal accepts it.

I used it at village grocer mytown. Was sceptical at first as I waited longer than usual for the trx to be approved but it went through anyway

I can imagine that. These days using the BP card is an emotional roller-coaster ride for me since I was half-expecting it to fail 50-50. sweat.gif

Haha.. It is good that they know how to tap. To make it more convenience, I will normally load my NETS FlashPay card in MRT Station using BigPay and use NETS FlashPay for all my transaction since it s widely accepted in SG.. So I can tap anywhere flawlessly..
In Malaysia, merchants are trained to use "PIN and Pay" and "we" dont accept wave .. bla bla.. with tons of reason....

That's like the total opposite of merchants in Malaysia! biggrin.gif

I told them to wave / tap but nope, they insist on having me key-in the PIN. doh.gif

The credit card terminal in sg is much more advanced than the ones in my. Most of the merchants used the one issued by wirecard I think.

I don't like. If I get the wireless card, I'll disable it. Imagine if you lose your card without knowing (happened to me before sweat.gif ), then anyone who pick that up can just wave and this is not credit card (with protection). So I would rather go tho more hassle than lose my money.

Agreed. Does BP have 24-hour CS? If not how to cancel the card if we lose it?

They have 1 terminal for all.. It is from NETS. accept Credit Card, NETS and NETS FlashPay ..Yup ..some from WireCard..
https://www.wirecard.com/newsroom/press-rel...yment-solution/

In SG, their "Touch N Go" is under CEPAS Standard, and operated by 2 Operator (NETS FlashPay by NETS ) and Ez-Link Card) thus it can be integrated seamlessly in MRT and we can even read card using our phone to check the balance and transaction history. So, I just reload it using BigPay at MRT Station and I can track my spending using phone...
