Works as thus...
Seat belt on while gear in P mode... Simply shift to D and depress pedal, it'll auto-disengage and you can drive off. I can't remember if after driving around, then parked.. Switching back to P..if it'll automatically reactivate the electric parking brake again. I think it does, will test for this tomorrow.

Seat belt off while gear in P mode... Shifting to D will not auto-disengage the hand brake. Flick or push down also no effect.. Car will not move.. Locked. Must shift back to P, manually disengage the parking brake, shift back to D and car will allow you to drive without belt.. Until crosses 20km/h, doors auto-lock and the warning beeps kick in..

EPB only auto trigger when you are activating Auto Hold and then you unfasten your seat belt.

need some advice here...

i recently changed the new batt for my FOB...but lately there seems to be problem, sometimes can’t unlock or lock the car, and sometimes the key sign will appear on dashboard ...anyone knows the reason ?

fyi...i have dropped the FOB twice long time ago...

should i replace to a new batt again and test ?

thanks

edit: how much to replace to a new FOB ?
*
Try to replace another battery...or reposition the battery...logically should be low on battery and the car unable detect FOB which lead to unable unlock/lock the car and key not in car while engine running

Wow, everyone seems to be in a agreement of CRV for bigger boots and cabin space.
Unfortunately, wife didn't like CRV. Went to Audi but only got Q3, Q5 no stock until next year. Planning to drop by Mazda showroom tomorrow to test CX5 again kaw kaw, will bring my daughter's carseat and probably a luggage to gauge its boot space.

Bro I think u compare to wrong car. You should consider between BMW X5 and Audi Q5.

CX-5 is different game

Drove my Cx5 for almost a month.

So far everything is alright. But notice a few cons..

1. My door leather wrap get a layer of whitish thingy when i rest my right arm.
2. The media control piano black panel is dust collectors, no dare to wipe it with cloth.
3. sometimes exiting a corner, it will probably use 3th or 4th gear, which makes the car feel heavy and slow. (2.0gls)

Besides all that, touch wood no kruk kruk sound when driving over humps..

1. Yep - Wipe more frequently or do leather polishing?
2. Yep - Wipe with micro fiber cloth or cover with those carbon fibre panel
3. Yep - Sluggish when slow down and pick up so I'll just drift along corners since it's a heavy car with GVC so it's pretty good hahahaha laugh.gif

Oh ya, Jet Black ho.... rclxms.gif

Someone said using the soft gel type to stick the dust, or something like that.

I dunno la, mine got hair line scratches. Work of art.

I went up to Genting on sport and manual mode. Not bad the cornering capability.

During uphill you let the gearbox decide the gear for you or you go for "manual" using the + / -?

I used manual +-

5 persons on board.

Power was sufficient for NA 2.0
