QUOTE(Hyde`fK @ Aug 20 2007, 10:13 PM) @steventan85 Want to ask, my Dell 24", the power button is loose or maybe broke inside, but still able to switch on and off, just that the button can be turn around, possible to claim warranty for just only the button without changing the whole panel? i dont think it is possible ... Dell will only change the whole LCD even ur part is loose ....

I just ordered 1 unit, hope the price won't drop Good on you there But be prepared as Dell LCD promotions never stops. They will always, lower the price, extend the promotion period, increase the price to about RM100 - 200 higher, and suddenly, came out with a promotion about a month later that is even cheaper than the price you get..LOL..

given the same or similar specification compare to other vendors, superb after sales service and extended warranty period, dell monitors would be the cheapest in the market right now. dell enjoys the economies of scale as the same model is supplied worldwide - of course north america remains the largest contribution to their revenues. As long as the price won't drop within a week then should be okay After a month, I won't mind as the same thing happens to handphone as well... But today and 1 month later it's cheaper by RM20-RM50 I bought the silver one by the way

QUOTE(alkin @ Aug 20 2007, 06:25 PM) steventan, cant notice any backlight bleeding ha? My 228WFP's left side is having slight bleeding. If i set brightness to 50, there is a minimal bleeding on the left. Normally i set to 60 for normal use and gaming. Movie time 50. My 228WFP also has some bleeding on the left side.

Oh no... Why so many Dell LCDs suffer from bleeding? Now I'm a bit worried Even the sample pics are Dell monitors: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/383529
