any one use these 19 inch monitor:-
benq fp92w
lg 196wtq
viewsonic vx922
samsung 931bw

can give me any review of all that monitor
i want to by a good monitor for playing games..
samsung is my last choice.. kalau bole nak budget bit more.. hehe.. below 750rm..

Dell LCDs come with any cables? Because DVI cable costs about RM90 le sweat.gif

No serious banding issues with the Dell right? I hope no bleeding problem as well, simply hate that... Makes the LCD look cheap laugh.gif

Steven, how come you bought RM609 only? The price for the SE model is RM639, price raise for Merdeka wacko.gif

Yes, it will come with the cables needed. My 22" comes with both DVI and VGA cables..

mine 1 is E model .....Entry level model ... u cant find it at www.dell.com.my .... hav a look on "The Star" Dell brochure ...the diff is only the color of side panel

Rm609 only .... i choose it bcoz of the black color design on the side panel ...

1st unit after use for 10hours got some problems and get a new replacement after 2 days i phone dell ...

so far no problems and no dead pixel at all thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

After pc fair the SE model price raised from Rm629 to Rm639 tongue.gif tongue.gif

~ edit~ no serious light leakage or bleeding problems....cant notice it at all for my unit icon_rolleyes.gif

I also want the Black model (Which is cheaper as well tongue.gif ), my whole rig is black in colour. But cannot find on Dell website. SE is also entry model right, and S stands for silver? blink.gif

You still have/remember the E-Value code for the black one? biggrin.gif

u can phone dell at 1800-880-301 and tell them u want to buy E198WFP LCD ....

try to look for it at The Star hmm.gif

cant notice any backlight bleeding ha? My 228WFP's left side is having slight bleeding. If i set brightness to 50, there is a minimal bleeding on the left. Normally i set to 60 for normal use and gaming. Movie time 50.

actually the E-value code is useless in malaysia, i didnt use it while purchasing my Dell22" also, because it can't be apply in Malaysia, i think other country like US only can use...
correct me if im wrong...

will try to set the brightness and contrast to 70 and see it again ..... blush.gif

normally i will set it at 40-50 .....

E-value code can be use in m'sia ...

the offer u saw it in www.dell.com.my may be diff from wat u saw it on The Star or other newspaper offer ...

take the E-Value Code in the brochure and apply it to get the offer ...

i have use it to buy my notebook and LCD since 2years ago icon_rolleyes.gif

Actually this model resides inside the "SMALL BUSINESS" section in the Dell. U should click this section instead of "HOME" section

How long does Dell offers usually last? Scared when I wanna order tomorrow, the promotion is gone. But then, what if I order today and tomorrow the price drops rclxub.gif

yeah, that is my main thing i worried about too.....
well, it wont drop that easily as i know.....they will offer some free gifts if u buy some expensive stuffs

if not mistaken , within 14days of ur purchase , any price diff , dell will refund to u ...

try to phone dell and clarify the issue

Want to ask, my Dell 24", the power button is loose or maybe broke inside, but still able to switch on and off, just that the button can be turn around, possible to claim warranty for just only the button without changing the whole panel?
