I knew fake oil is existing because every workshop keep the old oil for someone to collect it to recycle !!!!

Buy from authorized seller.

We will never know for sure unless we buy from authorized or reputable seller. Or maybe bring those oil for a lab test.

The oil can be recycled for usage on other industries. No only to be processed again back as engine oil.

Well, my question is not about real/fake EO but ATF,
Anyone has some info about it, bottle is not important as it's very easy to change or imitation, but the ATF in the bottle color and viscosity are totally different
Maybe slightly different Matic D formula?

usually used engines oil cooking oil or any used oil collected and recycle for machine oil , solvent, paint thinner and etc , if workshop pour every drop into drain would be nightmare

Trying to stick to the topic here(slightly), any reputable seller online(Lazada/shopee) to buy spark plug from? Scared fake stuff.

Hella's official store sells spark plugs. If you have a Proton/Perodua, they are like RM10-20 more expensive, but for sure genuine.

donkey years ago i bought from lazada, not sure why i so berani, but then again, 4 years on, still using the same plug with no issue

It's just a Myvi but I'm using iridium. Last change 5-6 years ago, can't exactly remember. Is Hella typically cheaper than NGK? Iridium.

Just want to share some info.

I always buy engine oil from a same reputable seller at Shopee. Already bought 3 bottles of Shell HX8 'Untuk Pasaran Malaysia" that came with QR code and alphabets verification.

I've compared these 3 QR and alphabets are all different between these 3 bottles. To me, it seem genuine as fake oils will only use 1 printing throughout all their supply.

Which seller did you buy from? Good info to share

I think Shell Malaysia are forced to implement this method because fake oil are quite rampant in Malaysia especially counterfeiting Shell engine oil.

It's a good deterrent I would say.

Hmm... every compared HX8 to shell Ultra before? Pretty sure there has to be some significant difference for the jump in price... Unker a bit sked to try HX-8

Usually the main difference between HX8 vs Helix Ultra is the base oil being used.

I believe the HX8 is using Group III (highly refined) base oil whereas Helix Ultra is using PAO base oil.
