The temperature levels provided above are observed on the CPU. For the GPU, it would be somewhere around 65°C for the GTX 1050Ti & 68°C for the GTX 1060 configuration respectively.

Kindly note that the average temperature levels were recorded while the laptop is being tested on a flat surface in an air-conditioned surrounding, so YMMV. Can be slightly higher/lower too, depends on the operating environment

Hi guys, just an update here regarding the problem. I had sent the laptop back for warranty and it turns out that the error was due to a faulty ram. The problem is solved now after they replace the ram. Overall great experience as the whole process is pretty fast, it just takes them 3 days to identify and fix it.

The Onyx AND the Neo 15 are both TongFang GK5CNs with a few cosmetic differences, so yeah, all points apply unless Illegear went with the AUO 144hz panel instead of the LG (which is improbable unless TF runs out of LG stocks).

On a related note hpefully Illegear does bring those smexy XMG chiclet style keycaps around soon as well as an option in the future as XMG themselves aren't willing to share (yeah I've asked).

We will bring the CAP2 in together with the brown (silent) mechanical switch.

And we don't just offer on new model, we are also trying to make it as an upgrade option for existing ONYX owner.

Yes, please make the caps and the silent(!) mechanical switch available for existing owners !

Omg yes. Btw has anyone managed to tweak their led light bar to have a breathing effect? I only seem to have it when the laptop boots up and then change to a single colour shortly after logging in. If there's an option in the command center to do so I can't seem to find it
