We call it Cap 2. It's the latest keycap and it's available for vendors who release the model later. ILLEGEAR is the first to receive ONYX stock so we only have Cap 1 in current ID. Some markets prefer cap 1 and some markets prefer cap 2. We will have the option to choose which kepcap to use in the next refresh.

Any expected time until the refresh, Prince J? That will seal the deal for me. Been following the discussion on NBR -including valuable input by our own Eiraku- and the clickety-clicky-look-its-me keyboard isn't something one could ignore, at least not for me. So to have this option is a welcome news thumbup.gif

Soon-ish per Prince J's reply in post #264. I guess timing is everything. Rest assured, quite a few are waiting for that. Some like me are kinda pressed for time (current situation and upcoming SST - not sure how much the latter would affect pricing tbh) and could just go for the next one in the shortlist.

Fingers crossed.

And also, anyone here using IntelĀ® Extreme Tuning Utility for their Onyx? if yes, whats  the setting ? i'm newbie to this software, thanks for the help~

While waiting for Onyx owners to weigh in, the new keyboard is a quieter version of the original one. Some users find issue with the loud clicks.

As for XTU, look up Bob of All Trades on Youtube for a step by step. Throttlestop is a similar tool with much more options. The NBR forum has a tutorial and Q&A if you prefer reading over Youtube.

Can anyone let me know, how is ONYX colour accuracy performs compared to others ? like Thunderobot 911 air & lenovo legion y530 ?

94% sRGB / 60% Adobe to Y530's 57/36. Thunderobot 911 (I think so?) seems to be reviewed in Chinese which I don't read: 95/73

Sorry too lazy to find out how to tabulate the data using the forum's built-in " | "
